Live feed to the FCC vote on Net Neutrality.

So true. But righties fight all Govt. regulation no matter how beneficial. I think they would fight the 1st amendment because it "regulates" free speech. Net neutrality is very much the same thing.

name the good gov regulations?

'
The fact its not regulated today is the problem. Regulation is neccessary otherwise the big corporations will take away the bandwith we have today. The regulation is meant to keep the internet the way it is today.

I don't know what's been happening in your part of the world but over the past 10 years nobody has tried to take away my bandwidth. In fact I've been getting progressively BETTER bandwidth over that period of time and that has happened with relatively miniscule cost increases.

This is nothing but the speculation and fear mongering on your part. A time and trusted tactic used by conservatives everywhere.

Obama track record show us by deduction this is about loss of freedoms and more taxing.. nothing more..

Obama just used fear to get you to believe this is a good thing..

BINGO...

This about how data will be charged and them taxing what was free...and anyone who cant see that is blind

Politics is so strong in this country nowadays, it's become almost like a religion. Even on an issue like this the opinions are split right along party lines. I never thought I'd see the day where any person who's ever had to deal with a cable company, or Verizon and ATT would ever defend them. It's amazing that anyone would trust those companies. Especially Comcast and TW. There's no bigger scum bags in the world then those 2 companies. They are the worse, and have been for decades.

I agree. I thought we could all get on board that Comcast is the ****ing devil.

Please list the specific benefits in this plan, include page numbers etc and a link. Thanks!

shhhhhh.... don't rain on their parade.....they just saved the internet from a phantom menace, let them celebrate

So the FCC voted on something, who exactly had a chance to read it before the vote?

You can't dump nuclear waste into a water reservoir is a good regulation.

You also are regualated that you cant drill a well or go off the grid..

THE EPA is nothing but control..created by the Libs

Just wait until most movies will be watched on the internet, those sites will get the highest priority.

We were right about ObamaCare, we were right about stimulus, and we'll be right about this.

Given enough time the Government will screw up just about anything.

Regarding this topic. There's a whole healthcare subforum to go rant in. Here we're talking about internet regulations.

But I assume you knew that, because you aren't an idiot. Which means you couldn't actually name a regulation. It wasn't a fair question, because those regulations haven't been released yet. You're speculating.

put your pom poms away.

All we know for sure is government got more power. We have no idea what will become of that increase in power.

History shows that giving government power to protect the little guy from the rich and powerful isn't the panacea you always seem to claim it to be.

Actually you are wrong on all counts. But that is what you were going for wasn't it? Being right is not Right...wing.

Google a picture of Los Angles in the 70's. The air being yellow looked pretty, but it really wasn't good to breathe in.

dont need to.. How did Pittsburgh survive without Obama

oh good goddman dude....hold your comments, you've already dug yourself a hole of idiocy you can't dig out of.

nah.. private sector is more powerful to fix any issue if the Gov would allow it..

Hows Global warming doing? we need MORE Regulations....right?

net neutrality says they won't get highest priority....net neutrality supposedly does away with prioritizing data.

we might even be looking at a decrease in streaming data performance, depending on network capabilities.

Yes, ObamaCare is " affordable ", Stilmulus walked us back from the cliff ( must have been all those shovel ready jobs ) and once again false narratives based on " equity and fairness " have sucked in a bunch of naive ideologues
