Saudi Arabia court gives death penalty to man who renounced his Muslim faith

What a ****ing arrogant and typical condescending patronizing American comment. After ****ing the Middle East to the point of near ruin. You want to stick your god damn nose in some more, sorry dude. **** THAT.

Figured you couldn't quote your lies.

Try reading the commentary and what I actually said....then what was said.

Reading is fun and mental if you actually give it a try.

Figured you could use common sense when trying to puff up.

I've been listening to what you have to say for a long time now. As long as we gang up here and lick all over each other about how horrible the left is, it's all okay. For the other half of the DP posters, as long as you gang up here and lick all over each other about how horrible the right is, it's ok. But for the dozen or so of us that point out that both parties are corrupt, failing at foreign policy and ruining our own country, we're anti-American, guess what! **** THAT, hear!!!!

That's why I just went with the problems caused by those in the ME. Taking us out of the picture like you said. Which leaves them to claim all their kudos and what they got coming.

So why stick up for them and their own actions?

Why stick up for WHO? Who do you see me sticking up for? I want America's nose out of the Middle East and back home where our problems are.

Which like I said.....once we are out of it. Then the ME spills over due to those in the ME and their own actions. So the Problem becomes a bit larger. So WHO would be those Countries who are the Powers in the ME.

I am more proactive and not allowing to wait until the problem is on the doorstep.

Who's ****ing doorstep. I'm sick of the fear mongering. Quite being so scared. Proactive, pre-emptive, regime change, nation building, support of terrorists, turning a blind eye to the Saudi's, arming Hussein, killing Hussein, killing Al Qaeda, arming Al Qaeda, working with Assad, working to overthrow Assad, denying Iran has a nuclear weapons program, giving Israel bunker busters to blow it up, drawing red lines, removing red lines, only freaks support this insanity.

Us and them Monte.....that's the bottomline.

Oh and Monte quit with the scared BS, the fear mongering BS.....I am ex military. Do try and think like a strategist. Ever been in Combat Monte? Ever get shot up and live thru it? Did you want to try and tell me what I fear.

Since it is not death. How you looking now?????

Not for dropping a faith.

Every culture has its own set of severe crime. We have ours. One of them is treason in war.

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself....." Really, it will be ok.

As our species evolves onward we progress towards a standard set of ethics, one which accommodates basic rights but also diversity of culture. Exicution for religious expression violates not just diversity of culture, but those basic rights. Therefore we are forced to choose if we want to support social evolution and improvement or stay stuck in the past and tolorate violations of basic rights.

We, as a people, choose the former.

You really think so? I would assume the development has more to do with the adaptation of societies to the realities surrounding them and their specific levels of technology. It can for instance be shown, which factors make capital punishment vs prison for a crime the optimizing social instrument. What we seem to find is that the optimal structure of rights for a population very much depends of the circumstances. Running a warship in the East Pacific in 1944 requires different community right than running a small Virginian township in 1956.

So then why do you have all this fear with those in the ME Monte? What about them.....makes you so very afraid. Are you sure you are okay? You do know they are not monsters, Right?

You're not intimidated by those in the ME are ya? Don't you worry, if they make a mean face. You can get behind me. I'll look out for ya lil fella.

No, not at all. But they have a lot of oil and only oppress their own people.

Conservatives often wonder why liberals rail so hard against religious influence on laws. This is why.

oh is this the "christians are bad too" equivalency argument?

Uhh, no, not at all. 0 for 2, buddy.

Theocracy is bad, and it doesn't matter which religion it ostensibly adheres to.

Yes, let's think like a strategist by answering the point he was actually making instead of chest-beating. The strategies he mentioned, why do you think they work?

Yes lets think like one. Do you think you can for longer than a moment?

So.....Now Try again, explain how taking the US out of the picture solves the problem. What do we do if we leave it all alone and then the ME spills over and everywhere else, and those in the ME don't want peace and stability. What are you going to do, declare war on the Entire ME?

"Saudi Arabia court gives death penalty to man who renounced his Muslim faith "

Just hope ISIS doesn't take over Saudi Arabia and install their 7th century version of sharia.

This almost makes them look like the kind of people we shouldnt be selling high tech weapons to.

we shouldn't be, we should be completely out of the mideast and doing everything we can to produce and use, not export domestic continental oil. But really, let's concentrate on the barbarity here, not how we can blame, or throw a jab at the US.

We have capital punishment too.

Yep, we execute folks for switching their religious organization ties all of the time. Meanwhile, back on the topic, why did we sanction South Africa and yet we treat the Saudis and Chinese like they are human rights saints? Could it be that we need to make nice to those "less than perfect" nations that help make us rich and selectively sanction only those that we can afford to?

A court ruling from a theocracy. It's Not like the citizens really have any say in this.
More Apologism for Islamism by Deuce.
Saudi Citizens would probably be No Less pious than Any of these countries.

Stop the Lying for Allah.
This Chart was already posted in This String (UNmissable #54) and You've seen it in others.
This is truly crazy.
You just keep Disingenuously repeating your Refuted opinions: in denial, 'skip-posting' on your merry way.

Yeah, and what do you think happens to people in these countries who express different beliefs?

And how d...
What I was pointing Out and you, as ALWAYS, Disingenuously avoided, was that Most Saudi 'citizens' would probably NOT disagree, based on country polls (probably 90% do agree) and relative piety... contrary to your Usual Ridiculous Islamo-Apologism.

GameOver # 6471.

Nobody said we did. But it is a question of cultural values and they are relative.

Tell me again, O right wingers, how Christianity is a religion of peace and how 99% of Christians are decent, child loving people.

Uh, those miscreants are in jail. And how have Christians supported their behavior?

Saudi Arabia sentenced a man to death for renouncing Islam. That's quite different, don't you think?

Really strange argument you made.

Right over your head.

That's the trouble with conservative thought.

Wahhabism is radical. Southern Baptists can be radical.

You don't even understand what you're saying. Good day.
