Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America[W:649]

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

If that was true then it would certainly demonstrate the power of prayer.

Well that and a lot of Neanderthal Republicans in the Congress of the United States. Not to mention those wonderful americans out there who would rather see the country fail than Obama succeed.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

It has nothing to do with him being black-it has to do with his being wrong.

On the flip side, Ive heard people say they specifically voted for Obama because he's black-I find that quite racist.

Gosh, really? I'm stunned.

I first read that and to argue the point, but I really can't find a better comparison....Marie Antoinette maybe...

The left largely did this, in the move to cultural marxism. Make everyone miserable and hope it leads to a "revolution".
It was a seed planted by German marxists. Maybe we outlasted the USSR, but if we aren't terminal we are critically ill.

Things have been bad before, but I dont know if they have been this bad.

What in the hell is the "legitimate" criticism in what Giuliani said ? All that statement was is catnip for the birthers , haters, faux "patriots" , and extremists on the right. That is all it was.

There is plenty, but lets be honest, you wont be convinced. I will save the key strokes.

Myself, that is the nearest comparison I could come up with.
With the Republicans having a Majority in both houses those 2 leaders cannot agree on many issues.
Neither have spoken to the other in 2 weeks and the country is headed for a shutdown of DHS.
How can this division be described?
And I am aware that Democrats have done the same thing.
And the country suffers.
From the link posted earlier.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/26/u...column-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news

Speaker John A. Boehner told his Republican conference at a closed-door meeting Wednesday morning that he and Mr. McConnell had not spoken in two weeks, something several lawmakers said they found surprising. Mr. Boehner also has not taken a position publicly on the Senate proposal, though the two men met privately for about 40 minutes Wednesday afternoon.

I know both are busy and getting their legs as far as working together, but if they can't get on the same page they and their party simply dont deserve my vote.

What we need is more people willing to confront the right wing and libertarian extremists in this country. They are the problem, not Barack Obama.

There is plenty, but lets be honest, you wont be convinced. I will save the key strokes.

Suit yourself. I know what he said, and it is a pile of **** character assassination.

Right. Ever hear that line...when 10 men tell you that you are drunk, you are?

And no, Im not saying you are drunk.

If you're not drunk, ten men telling you that you are will not make it so.

I hope you can do better than that.

Since when has there been an honest debate from liberals? Like your video that reflects your dogma?

People didn't show up to vote because they are tired of Obama's and the rest of the liberal left's :bs

Apparently you still embrace it though.

Don't even pretend you watched the video because it was a commentary by a conservative in its full context with no liberal talking in it whatsoever. Kind of makes everything you just said not only null and void but also obvious hypocritical projection.

Good show genius. :lamo

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

News flash for the nube with a tude: Might want to rethink that canned insult. I know it bolsters your post count and I know nubes like you think respect is all about post count and likes received/given but I have no respect for pointless, mindless, troll posts such as this.

Feel free to engage in dialogue but don’t expect respect if you’re limited to Argumentum ad Hominem.

Well i promise to stop using that response so long as you grow up and use your brain to the point where you dont say really stupid things like. libruls... bad. All libruls this and that.

mmmmkay?

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

1. Wow, now you're outright lying about what I just said.

2. I haven't seen a "serious question" this entire thread.

3. I'm one of Obama's "staunchest defenders"? No, I'm not. Not even close. I've criticized him MANY times on numerous issues. However, I do "defend him" when right-wing hacks begin with the "he hates America" crap.

4. The entire last paragraph of your post is utterly ludicrous.

To the bolded. I won't dispute that Kobie, but I'll start watching for it.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

That's insanity. And you've got plenty of company too. Japan didn't invite the American monkey on their back for no reason at all. They were provoked, the sanctions being the least of which. And alone they would have worked around. But FDR wasn't satisfied with simply shutting off supplies of any materials that might aid their imperialism, he didn't like their eye on resources that the US was already exploiting from their own adventurism in the South Pacific a half century earlier. The problem was a country that didn't care!!! And was 80% against another war. That was a huge impediment for FDR, but he persevered, and with every bit of intrigue, deceit and damaging provocation, he swung public opinion. If you want to make an argument that what FDR did was the right thing to do, that we should have militarily confronted Japan and stopped their imperialism, do it, but it's a different matter. I'm making the point, a point that many historians know, which is that FDR did in fact endeavor to draw the first overt (very important distinction there) attack to pull the color of legitimacy for an all out declaration of war.

Well sir you can argue that we provoked them through utilizing our right of self determination, however, I would argue that we were using soft power in order to make them see reason.

And IIRC after the Black Ship negotiation we had fairly good trade relations until they started using our stuff to massacre people throughout Asia and the Pacific.

Perry Expedition - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

U.S. Ambassador Joseph Grew implored Washington not to ignore Konoye’s offer, that the prince had convinced him an agreement could be reached on Japanese withdrawal from Indochina and South and Central China. Out of fear of Mao’s armies and Stalin’s Russia, Tokyo wanted to hold a buffer in North China.

Did FDR Provoke Pearl Harbor? | The American Conservative

Roosevelt and his subordinates knew they were putting Japan in an untenable position and that the Japanese government might well try to escape the
stranglehold by going to war. Having broken the Japanese diplomatic code, the American leaders knew, among many other things, what Foreign Minister Teijiro
Toyoda had communicated to Ambassador Kichisaburo Nomura on July 31: "Commercial and economic relations between Japan and third countries, led by England
and the United States, are gradually becoming so horribly strained that we cannot endure it much longer. Consequently, our Empire, to save its very life,
must take measures to secure the raw materials of the South Seas."[9]

[product:10391]

Because American cryptographers had also broken the Japanese naval code, the leaders in Washington also knew that Japan's "measures" would include an
attack on Pearl Harbor.[10] Yet they withheld this critical information from the
commanders in Hawaii, who might have headed off the attack or prepared themselves to defend against it.
That Roosevelt and his chieftains did not ring the
tocsin makes perfect sense: after all, the impending attack constituted precisely what they had been seeking for a long time. As Stimson confided to his
diary after a meeting of the War Cabinet on November 25, "The question was how we should maneuver them [the Japanese] into firing the first shot without
allowing too much danger to ourselves."
After the attack, Stimson confessed that "my first feeling was of relief . . . that a crisis had come in a way
which would unite all our people."[11]

Professor of right-wing bull****. Just stop, dude. I'm not interested in the garbage you're shoveling.

I know... you, like many others on the Left are not interested in the truth. You're closed minded.

Being a former Leftist, I... like Charles Krauthammer am one of the exceptions. I kept an open mind and when it was clear that Lib policies fail, that they lie to move their agenda forward... I departed the intellectually bankrupt Left.

I am still open minded, am exposed to Leftist views from the EU and US, and nothing I have seen from the Left has motivated me to rejoin the Left... quite the contrary. They're a greater menace than ever.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

And then some....

Married to a woman who outright stated she was ashamed of America, I suggest he knows a lot about the nation's faults, guns and bibles, and of course "enemies"

Remember... Obama had to be shamed into wearing our country's flag on his lapel. It's not a big thing if you're running for the highest office in the land, but for Obama it was a point of contention. Little things should raise big warning flags, especially added to all the anti-Americanism he had been swimming in for decades.

And then there's his wife, as you noted. She has one huge chip on her shoulder too. Instead of toning it down, she surely added fuel to that fire.

It is absolutely amazing how this guy could make it to the primaries with the tons of smelly baggage he had.

What will be interesting is what historians write about him and his Reign of Error.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

On the very day Obama was inaugurated Republican lawmakers and strategists had a meeting that declared war on Obama. Even though the economy was collapsing and millions of Americans were losing the jobs and their homes at this meeting the GOP promised to oppose all of Obama's economic policies.
Yes, because his ideas are idiotic.

What type of moron says... now is not the time for profits?
What type of economic illiterate says comapnies should take bank loans to meet payroll?
What type of sicko sicks people on bankers, to the point they feel as if their lives are threatened?
What type of illiterate says he will raise Cap Gains taxes out of fairness when it is long proven doing so will hurt people, especially retirees?

Obama's had trillions, and 6-years... where are all the jobs?????????????????????????????????????

A mere eight days later Eric Cantor would hold the House Republicans to a unanimous no vote against the economic stimulus plan proposed by Obama.
It is smart to oppose idiocy... which is what Obama's "plan" was and is.

Where are the results for the trillions?

The GOP deserves most of the blame for the toxic atmosphere that has engulfed DC.
Do you know when the toxic atmosphere happened?

1994.

The Demokrats lost the House, Senate, and a bunch of governorships. The R's did not lose one seat!!!!
That ended 40-years of monopoly rule in Congress by Dems.
At about the same time ralk radio was really flying, and 2-years later FOX NEWS entered the scene.

Before that, the Dems had a monopoly. 3 TV networks, CNN, the print media. The Dem Congress... they were used to rolling without opposition, with the full weight of the media as propagandists.

After 1994 that changed, and the Dems no longer enjoyed a monopoly. They actually had to start answering some questions. Then they got dirty. Which is fine... because it should be a fight (too bad the R's didn't fight before that).

And the fight continues... One side for Liberty, the other for Government.

The toxic atmosphere... Demokrat created. Just look at how they passed Obamakare... pure poison wrapped in lies and deception. That's toxic.
And where was the Demokrat Media... propagandizing.

Yup. I remember that.

But there you go again ... that's just not fair ... Michelle's a sweet woman.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

I'd think we'd have evaluate their actions, and not their rhetoric...From what I see even today, and with a majority in both houses, Repubs are laying down to Obama's wishes.

Unfortunately.

I'd like to see McConnell and Boehner out of jobs, or at a minimum, relegated to the benches.
They're worse than useless.

EVERY birther is racist. Every person who chose ,this time, to wonder whether a presidential candidate was born in the US, AND carry on with it for YEARS after the 'controversy' had been addressed and addressed and addressed. In 2012 a South Carolina tea party candidate for Congress told his audience that when HE was elected to Congress, he was going to send Obama back to Kenya.

Are you going to stand here with a straight face and tell us that was not racially motivated ?

What about Trump, demanding to see the birth certificate of the President of the United States after he had been in office for four years, and then saying the President was too busy "playing basketball" to produce his college transcripts.

No race motivation for Trump either, I suppose. How long has your head been in the sand?

Are the lefties that tried to claim McCain was not a true citizen racists ??

Already, some lefties are trying to claim Ted Cruz is not a true citizen and is ineligible to run for president. Are they racists ??

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

Do you have anything of value to add, for a change, or are you just going to take juvenile potshots all day?

ROTFLOL... it's your specialty... and you get excited when you're on the receiving end of it??? !!!

How Liberal of you.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

I "defend" Obama from idiotic, hyperpartisan drivel like this.

Can you love a country you fundamentally want to change... in a manner it never was, and never was intended by the founders, and do it with tricks and executive fiat?

The answer... No.

It's not partisan drivel, it's identifying someone for who they are, and not just anyone... but the chief executive.

It's too late to stop Obama on many things, but... we can stop him on some, and we can identify who he is so others can take note. Better to have people educated late, than not at all.

But for Libs, when you get to talking patriotism, military, secure borders, love of country, The Constitution... they react like vampires that are about to be exposed to light.
