Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America[W:649]

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

I think President Obama loves his country. I know for a fact he absolutely adores its President.
Yet another comment I wish was mine.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

Stop lying. In no post have I mentioned Stalin or Mao, except to CORRECT you for accusing me of it.

The only one lying here is you, and there's no sense of doing so as your words are here for all to see in perpetuity:

Oh boy, it's been the Germans and the Japanese and the Soviets and the Vietnamese, and the Chinese, and the Iranians and the Iraqis and the Syrians and the Libyans and........I'm sure I'm leaving somebody out. Main beneficiary to all this continual fear mongering and conflict, the MIC....

...probably everyone of them threatened US hegemony, and US business, I'll not deny that.

I also haven't "apologised" for Japan,

Bull**** you have continuously pointed to the US as the aggressor state for the Pacific theater never once have you mentioned Japanese atrocities, you're not fooling anyone with your backtracking.

I have however repeatedly pointed out, that Japan had no scheme devised of attacking the US, until AFTER economic war and other provocations from FDR. do keep things accurate, if that's possible.

A boycott is not Casus Belli, if you want to be accurate then you would have to acknowledge that the US did not place an embargo on Japan until the invasions and subsequent atrocities they perpetrated throughout Asia.

Where's the conflict. There was no sucker punch by Japan, nor was their attack, for no reason at all. It was in response to US provocations. It was desired by FDR.

And the only threat Japanese aggressions in Asia were to the US was our own hegemonic interests.

You're right, my thread even. And look who jumped in here in post 3 to derail it.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

And you followed along like the pied piper.

And now you're inline too. Any comments on Giuliani and Scott Walker's embarrassing issue?

Walker for all intents and purposes is the next President of the United States. I'm predicting this right now, Today. Though its hardly because of this incident. He can do one of two things. He can either, say he disagrees with Giuliani, or come out hitting Obama harder, but staying within certain restrictions. One up Obama. One up his own patriotism by going out there and doing patriotic American Exceptional things. I do think he can easily come out with this being more popular than he already is with Ronald Reagan-esque ads and speeches being examples of what he can use for his political advantage.

Why he was hanging with Giuliani, I have no idea. Had no idea he was so powerful within the upper echelons of the GOP. He's never cited as a big backer, just a pundit, campaigner.

Wow, that's quite a bold prediction. I'm not sure I agree with you. Walker still hasn't caught on here in NH, and he needs to. But it's still early. I like Walker a lot and plan to give him a very serious look when he starts coming up here.

Rudy's still a pretty popular figure and is a draw. I like Rudy. I can't say I approve of his words here, but generally speaking I like him a lot.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

Seems to me he's got no other office to run for so he can say any idiotic thing he wants. But Scott Walker was in the room, and he would like to be the next president, lol. Why people think they can say **** like this when they're in private meetings in a day when everyone has a phone with audio and video capabilities.

For anyone who forgets that we still have freedom of speech, this was his opinion, and it sounded like it was said in sorrow, not anger or hatred. Did people sit in stunned shock or did they silently agree. I don't know, but I'm sure this was unexpected by the audience.

It's not Walker's issue, though partisan hacks everywhere will try to make it his.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

I don't think Rudy should have said what he did. I think it was a pretty petty and disingenuous of him. But what does Scott Walker have to do with anything?
You see, if one Republican said it - then there is an asinine assumption by the ignorant, that all Republicans think the same thing, hence the comment about Walker and why the media is rushing around questioning potential GOP Presidential prospects, what they think of Gulliani's comments and if they agree with it.

I sort of agreed. I would have used the word "ambivalence" in how Obama sees America.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

What's the point, anyway. Obama is not running for anything. He's a lame duck just polishing up his resume for the speaking tour circuit.

I would suspect the point is the same as Obama blaming and criticizing the GW Bush Presidency between 2007 and today.

Walker has nothing to do with it.

Giuliani said basically the same thing that Obama said about Bush in 2008. I'll assume you attacked Obama at the time??

I think he has it all. I'll explain why later. I'm going to be writing a thread about this soon, so keep an eye out for it.

I disagree with Giuliani. I fully believe that Obama loves America... in much the same way that Lenny loved rabbits.

It certainly doesn't need to be. He knows what he should have said when first asked how he felt about Giuliani's comment. Most of those on the right here have at least conceded that Giuliani's comments were wrong, disingenuous, uncalled for, etc.

Leftists are in a knot because it's been suggested by Rudy that Obama doesn't love his country? Another Gruberharfism! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyLmru6no4U

Which still has nothing to do with Walker. Keep digging, it's fun to watch.
