Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America[W:649]

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

Well, there are things in America that need fixing and changing. Most people would agree with that but perhaps disagree with what needs to change.

making this country more in the image of eurosocialist states is not what I consider a benefit. I think Obama hates the society that he thinks rejected his white midwest mother and her kenyan and then indonesian husbands and some of his politics is based on getting even for what upset his mother

That seems a bit simplistic. And to think Americans put him in the WH, and sent him back a second time.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

Obama doesn't love this country??? Is that supposed to be some kind of a news flash? Tell me something I don't know.

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

The biggest problem with all this for liberals is that Rudy is 100 percent right, and they know it.

lol No.

this country is full of people who voted for stupid reasons

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

Before Obama won the presidency in 2008, someone -I believe in Forbes from Asia-wrote a long article about how Obama's views of America were formed by his mother's searing hatred of america. It was a pretty good article-I remember posting it here almost 7 years ago. I have no idea where to find it now

Would this be it? Asia Times Online :: Asian News, Business and Economy.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

It's the classic fascistic notion of the partisans.

"You don't believe as I do, therefore you don't love this country".

Weaker nation, weaker economy, weaker border/more illegals, more regulations, less unity, Russia is in Ukraine, China took the islands in the Sea of Japan, Iran is close to getting the bomb, ISIS is on the War path along with all of the Jihadist getting more emboldened as this fools sits and gives speeches about the crusades and "“It's a 19th century act in the 21st century".

He is a fool, a stooge, or just a man who is doing everything in his power to harm America.

You think every one and every group, culture, and nation values freedom and liberty and they are all interchangeable?

Friend you need to learn a few lessons.

I don't think any culture or nation values freedom. I think people value their own goals and values and believe it is in the best interest of the world to follow their lead. I think people support power structures of all sorts that they want to impose on others. I think that they waste their days on contrived ideals that have no chance of bringing about the dream in their head. I think most people think like small child and have no chance of ever growing to be something more.

Seems to me he's got no other office to run for so he can say any idiotic thing he wants. But Scott Walker was in the room, and he would like to be the next president, lol. Why people think they can say **** like this when they're in private meetings in a day when everyone has a phone with audio and video capabilities.

Old Rudy has hit rock bottom.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

Where's the conflict. There was no sucker punch by Japan, nor was their attack, for no reason at all. It was in response to US provocations. It was desired by FDR.

And the only threat Japanese aggressions in Asia were to the US was our own hegemonic interests.

The only threat the US posed to Japan was denying them the raw materials to wage genocide throughout Asia, deciding which nations to trade with is the right of every sovereign nation and is not Cassus Belli and never has been so spare me your laughable nonsense.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

Has Obama ever SAID he loves the United States?

The answer to that seems relevant.

Obama often professes love of country

"God bless this country we love," Obama said in last month's State of the Union speech.

The night he won re-election in 2012, Obama used the l word in praising Republican opponent Mitt Romney: "We may have battled fiercely, but it's only because we love this country deeply, and we care so strongly about its future."

Back during his first president campaign in 2008, in a commercial on values, Obama said "I approved this message because I'll never forget those values, and if I have the honor of taking the oath of office as president, it will be with a deep and abiding faith in the country I love."

Which was my point exactly. Raw materials resources which became booty for the US after defeating the Spanish half a century earlier. The "right" of sovereign nations to trade with whom they wish, I never have denied. Perhaps you think you can quote me such. Nevertheless, the economic warfare that FDR waged on Japan, hoping to draw an attack and as such demonstrate to the American people, his hurdle, the legitimacy for declaring war on Japan. If you want to argue that engaging Japan as such was a good thing, that's fine, but it's another matter. My point has been that the American people 80% were steadfastly against involvement in another world war! and only through intrigue and deceit, was FDR able to reverse those numbers.

The Roosevelt administration, while curtly dismissing Japanese diplomatic overtures to harmonize relations, accordingly imposed a series of increasingly
stringent economic sanctions on Japan. In 1939, the United States terminated the 1911 commercial treaty with Japan. "On July 2, 1940, Roosevelt signed the
Export Control Act, authorizing the President to license or prohibit the export of essential defense materials." Under this authority, "[o]n July 31,
exports of aviation motor fuels and lubricants and No. 1 heavy melting iron and steel scrap were restricted." Next, in a move aimed at Japan, Roosevelt
slapped an embargo, effective October 16, "on all exports of scrap iron and steel to destinations other than Britain and the nations of the Western
Hemisphere." Finally, on July 26, 1941, Roosevelt "froze Japanese assets in the United States, thus bringing commercial relations between the nations to an
effective end. One week later Roosevelt embargoed the export of such grades of oil as still were in commercial flow to Japan." [8] The British and the Dutch followed suit, embargoing exports to Japan from their
colonies in Southeast Asia.
