Well Europe is where the wars start, where the crazy political and economic movements begin, and now is pretty much culture free, so perhaps they aren't really as bright as you would have us believe.

The story may be false and addressed to the French people for political purposes, such as not getting involved in Iraq. This American religious fanaticism angle gets a great deal of play in Western Europe so I'd give this a pass unless you hear it directly from the source.

Just as I thought. Its French propaganda, to steer the French people away from supporting Bush in Iraq. I don't suspect I'll be hearing anymore bull **** from Grant attributed to Obama or any other democrat (I make that distinction for good purpose) unless the person THEMSELVES can be quoted.

I'll believe that when I actually see it. Jordan went out and did some minimal bombing runs after one of their own got burned. I'm just wondering how active they are anymore, although I admit I haven't looked so I don't know. There are no nations other than the U.S. who are consistently bombing over the long term. None.
