The vetting of Gov. Walker has begun with his choice to travel to the UK versus doing his job as governor.
I'm sure former governors Bush and Huckabee are chuckling on this one.

His trip to the UK has turned out as well as that of Gov. Christie and Gov. Jindal this year.
Or as well as former Gov. Romney's trip during the 2012 election .

Walker isn't toast by a long shot.
He's simply doing what all politicians do--trying to thread the needle between all the conflicting wings of the GOP.
A much more challenging thing to do in the GOP with regard to science.

Yet HRC will have her own needles to thread--especially on foreign policy as we saw with DEMs bucking Obama today on troops on the ground.
A healthy debate of the ISSUES is needed in both parties.

The science debate is one that will challenge the GOP .

Evolution is a scientific theory which conflicts with some religious beliefs. Personally I think that evolution is the logical explanation for life on earth however I also believe that everyone is entitled to their own religious beliefs. A belief in creation or intelligent design doesn't negate any individuals belief in every other scientific discipline. It's a distraction nothing more and personally don't think it has anything to do with a persons ability to lead a nation.

This is just the beginning of the attacks on Walker from his own party as you know.
DEMs need to just step back and let the vicious attacks between GOPs continue as they did in 2012.

If Walker gets the nomination, one of the most divisive issues will be his ending of collective bargaining for public unions.
I recognize your anti-union feelings and can only wonder how you would feel if you had one of those jobs .

That's probably true since the GOP in my state won't let anyone vote in their primaries except neighborhood GOP caucus leaders. So even if I wanted to, I couldn't.

God dammit. There goes another potential candidate for me. At this rate all I have left are Bush and Christie, maybe Marco Rubio, plus some of the wild cards who probably wont run.

I saw this earlier today--Walker dropping out his Senior year.
The article I saw had Walker crashing his 20 year reunion at his private school Marquette, where his son goes.
Yet now he wants to cut $300 million from the public school University of Wisconsin.

By the time fellow GOP candidates are done tearing Walker apart,
there won't be much meat left for HRC to pick at, assuming she's the opponent.

But Walker thrives on his anti-public union credentials.
In the article of the OP, he later tweeted using the 'press' card, SOP from the party still on Nixon steroids.


Should be fun seeing AJIveMan from Wisconsin showing up for this one .

The nation is currently led by a Christian, one who openly professes his faith in God and Christ, who admits his beliefs are centered on his faith, and who believes the Bible as a foundation of creationism. Has the world gone to Hell?

I like how he avoids answering questions and then has a spokesperson "clarify" his stance the next day. It's the Washington version of "we'll fix it in post."

In a way I don't blame him. Candidates and would-be/will-be candidates get jumped on for anything remotely controversial. You answer down party lines and anything that might alienate part of your voter base? Punt. Walker should have answered those questions with "I need to win the bible belt and the Ron Paul faction, so shut up."
