NATO to bolster forces in eastern Europe against threat from Russia

I still think its very naive to assume that every world leader other than the leaders of the Arab nations, Russia, China, and some in Latin America, is pro-US. Especially after the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were so unpopular, and the CIA torture report further widening the gap already caused by the NSA spying (Obama has already sided with Greece against Germany, and the Israeli-US relationship is becoming rather frowned upon by developed Europe).

Which is why the western bulwark does not necessarily bode well for the U.S. anymore.
