ISIS does give clues about themselves all the time.....its not just guys out running around in black pajamas. Now these are some of the those who are their strongest fighters they have. We want these to be examples for the rest of them. Then go after their clerics that are running around with pistols in their belts. Examples that lead no question as to whats taking place with their eradication.

Why waste bombs and bullets on somthing that can be accomplished simply by exploiting ethnic and regional tensions?

Congress made clear after 9/11 that an actor does not need to be a formal state to be an enemy of the United States. And it made clear that nations which harbor Islamic jihadists are enemies just like the jihadists. The U.S. cannot allow jihadists to gain immunity from attack just by hiding in nations whose governments do not fully control their territories-- whether they hide in cities or elsewhere in those nations.

That's not true. It would be a MAJOR debate by the international community, but there's no formal writing set in stone for that case as those cities are occupied by terrorists. As we know, if it aint in writing, it's fair game.

They would love that. Why do you suppose they continue to purposely commit atrocities and film and promote their actions worldwide. Why? What is their intent? What is it they want most to gain by their actions?

So mass killing of innocents would achieve what? You state you are against drone attacks by Obama, yet are for mass killing by bombing cities.
I am confused by what you are posting as they are diametrically opposed.

I never stated my opposition for them. I merely said Obama killed women and children at a wedding when he droned it.

I don't mind dead terrorists by drone or tomohawk missile.

Germany was a sovereign nation state, and therefore the civilian deaths that occurred were inflicted both in Germany and countries that were under millitary ocupation.

ISIS is not a nation unified by any common ethnicity or culture. ISIS is the embodiment of wielding political power through violence.

My hope is that with the execution of this Jordanian pilot, the silent majority of Muslims will say "Enough." Those who harbor AQ and ISIS because of tribal/kinship connections must finally denounce this barbarism and work with the civilized world.

That's how we got into all this mess. Their sectarian divide. Playing both sides towards the middle. Then Sunni vs Sunni. Then Shia vs Shia.

When brought armed confrontation by those that don't negotiate.....then action is required.

It is because of that secratarian divide that the notion of a Islamic caliphate is a fantasy. ISIS is just a bunch of factions and warlords just waiting to disintagrate and carve out little feifdoms for themselves.

You're putting too much thought in figuring their plans and you really shouldn't.
If they were anything close to being smart they wouldn't believe in the things that they believe in.

We, the west, get-the-****-out. Leave. No bases, no embassy, no nothing. We stop ****ing with their governments, stop assassinating and/or replacing their leaders, stop destroying their infrastructure (such that it is), stop any and all occupation of any sort. Let them fight their own battles.

The one thing we have not tried in over 70 years is leaving them the hell alone.
