Mornin NQR...I've heard that angle, as well as one that suggests that they are also doing this to undermine our own production increases due to fracking....In any case...I sure love the savings...I know between my wife and I it adds up to about $120. per month...Not chump change in an average joe's like my budget....

The Saudis have little incentive to undermine us as we are fighting the crazies that threaten the cash cow keeping desert bandits in opulent palaces. Arabs have no love for Russians as the Ruskies are far more heavy handed in dealing with their 'dear friends and allies'...

As far as savings go, the recent increases in price at the pump has little justification in crude oil prices (still low). But I agree the savings are a short term boon for the average Joe, however I doubt Big Oil or desert bandits turned OPEC powers have much concern there- especially if Obama gets any favorable bump from it.

I'd suggest looking a little past the short term crumbs for a deeper reason might be in order... :peace

Judge halts TransCanada's use of Eminent Domain..

A Nebraska district judge has halted TransCanada’s attempts to use eminent domain to force landowners to turn over their land for the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, an act that anti-Keystone activists are calling a major win.
Nebraska State District Court Judge Mark Kozisek issued a temporary injunction against TransCanada on Thursday after a hearing during which nearly 70 landowners called on the judge to grant the injunction. The injunction will remain in place until Nebraska’s Supreme Court takes up the landowners’ case against state law LB1161, which gave TransCanada the right to use eminent domain against the landowners.
