'We will cut off your head in the White House': ISIS threatens to behead Obama...

Nope, but Obama did just continue the war. This is what infinity war does. It knows no party affiliation, only power and greed. Bush destabilized Iraq and didn't finish the job in Afghanistan. Obama ios following wuit with opening up new war fronts without finishing the old ones first. Same ****, different day.

You are allowing your fixed, false beliefs to conceal reality. What you call "infinity war" :doh happens when you appease evil and fight wars based on a calendar. These are expensive lessons man has already learned. Consider reading books so as to learn the error of your ways.

Infinity war is what happens when you engage in military exercise with no idea on how you're going to bring the conflict to an end. Appease evil? Please, we've been doing that at home with all the expansions of government force and spying and the whittling away of our liberties. All in the name of some "terror" that we apparently cannot beat. Well not with the levels of stupid we currently employ.

Sounds to me more like somebody running for the GOP Presidential nomination. Just sayin'...... :coffeepap

There is nothing more pathetic than someone who is so stuck on the "Us vs Them" attitude towards "the left" that you'd be willing to sell out your own country so that the left would look bad.

Yo you don't know **** about me. Nor would I ever sell this country out. But when you spill some blood for this country. Then you Might be able to talk. That's might. But never any BS with me.

Whats even more pathetic is you thinking the country has to be sold out to take on the left. We can see how leadership and yourself just can't mix. But then I always knew about that limitation from your start.

Grow up and think. 14 years of mismanaged military interventionism, and you want me to support an unspecified time of mismanaged military interventionism? That's stupid. All we've done is make it worse, so I guess if the goal is to continue making it worse then we should toe the line. But nothing in what we've done for over a decade already indicates that we are any closer to solving the problem. As such it is nothing more than a life and money sink.

I don't discount all war, but I will discount stupid war. We have the greatest military in the world, if we can't do it within 8 years, it's very probable we can affect the system along those lines of force.

Your platitudes serve no purpose other than to excuse gross government incompetience and the continued sacrafice of American lives and dollars.

You want to pout instead of deal with reality. These people will NOT be reasoned with.

They need to be exposed to rapidly expanding gasses and shrapnel.

I agree with some of what you say, and your sentiment; but it's put a bit simplistic. No Western govt is going to sit by and do nothing. On the other hand, it appears to me that some Arab states want to sit back and have all this taken care of for them, that way they can say they never raised a hand against Islam. The trouble with the supposed moderate Muslims, is that I'm not sure anyone has many any with a pair of balls. They all seem to be castrated, and unable to participate in subduing those who "took over" their religion. So either they are cowards, or willingly provide aid behind the scenes. But something definitely stinks to high heaven. Furthermore it appears that these Arab states sit almost idly by and let this **** go on. Why aren't they looking for these guys that like to cut off heads. Just once I'd like to see a video of one of these black-masked bastards get one through the head by a moderate state.

Your idea of "addressing" things is to surrender and appease. Thats not good enough.

No it is not, but neither is not infinity war. Intelligent engagement with end goal in mind, that’s what is necessary. All you’re trying to do is sell me on 14 years of failure. If you can’t get the job done, then you can’t get it done; that’s all there is to it. You have to try a new method that can possibly do the job. 14 years of failure and no plan, that’s what you’ve given me as “addressing” things. That’s not good enough.

I don’t think we should necessarily “do nothing”, but we need to ensure that what we are doing has a positive effect and moves the system in the direction we want it moved. We can’t engage in the same failed tactics and pretend that it means we’re getting somewhere. We must take stock of reality and work within the limitations of reality so that we can effectively apply force to the system.

This might explain some of it American. :2wave: The other difficulty those outside the ME have.

US should stop Syria not ISIS: Saudi prince.....

U.S. policymakers should concentrate on eliminating the threat posed by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad instead of Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, according to an influential member of the Saudi Arabian royal family.

Prince Turki bin Faisal Al Saud told CNBC at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the reason why Islamic State exists is because of what's happening in Syria and has called on U.S. authorities including the government, the Central Intelligence Agency and the military to act......snip~

Forever wars are stupid and only encourage unacceptable growth in government power and spending. If you can't give me a solution, then you don't have a solution. And without a solution, I don't think throwing wave after wave of our own men at the problem is going to change anything.

So your answer is to let the borders disappear slowly until they're on our doorstep? Islamic fundamentalism spreads like melanoma. Once it metastasizes, you can't root it all out.

There really is only one solution, but we'll never do it. Too much collateral damage.

War is always inevitable in the case of pillagers... A quote from the greatest chief Pushmataha. Thank the ancestors of this great nation. We are still here!!!! Obama needs to remember why hie is called commander and CHIEF!!!!!

No, not at all. It's not forever war or nothing, that's stupid. There are possible avenues to explore that are not the demonstrated failed path of imperial policing.

Why doesn't he act, the sum'bitch? He's got a first class military paid for with black gold.

Can't argue with that. Of course you never know you tactics have failed until you've tried them.

That is true, though I would say that 14 years later we have tried them and we have now measured that they haven't worked. I wasn't against military interventionism from the start. I don’t like going to war, but sometimes it is necessary. But this entire affair has been mishandled from the start and continues to be mishandled. We can’t blindly engage in military interventionism, there needs to be intelligence behind it. We need to have a game plan and a way to execute the game plan. Without that, we’re just spinning our wheels. And in the case of warfare, that means getting more Americans killed and spending trillions of dollars. With those stakes, we can’t afford to be stupid.

Well there really is not tactic against a game of Whack-a-mole, except maybe nukes. And that's obviously not an option. Other than that, the natives have to summarily kill off these insurgents themselves.

That, or you'd have to likely engage in joint police actions instead of straight up military strikes, and propaganda. Lots of pro-American propaganda. Some of the countries are straight up hostile to solving the problem, but if you're going to intervene militarily you need a plan and a way to execute that plan. Stupidity cannot be allowed.

Greetings, MMC. :2wave:

We should just ignore ISIS, and kill the Syrian President instead? Uh huh, that's sure some good advice there! Remind us not to ask for any further thoughts from this Saudi prince! Sheesh! Now I'm not saying Assad is not a bas****, because he might be, but not only is he getting blamed for things he didn't do - and which were proven he didn't do by outside investigators, (the rebels used the poison gas,), but he is well liked by his people; he is killing terrorists in his country; and Russia still has his back! I don't know what game the Saudi prince is playing, but he should just go back to his life of debauchery in Europe and STHU about Syria! It's also strange that he made this comment while Obama is visiting Saudi Arabia. Maybe he was misquoted?

Nah he wasn't misquoted. But the Saud would do anything to have a Country to be handed over to them/Sunni.....especially if it is Ruled by Shia. He didn't want to mention those Syrian Rebels who switched sides to ISIS. So he thinks we should be the one to go and take out Assad.

Like you said, the Russians are backing Assad.....and so to is Iran.
