Netanyahu ‘spat in our face,’ White House officials said to say[W:223]

Obama's ego won't let him be sideshowed. Also, Obama gave up his cookies by giving a fake lead to Bloomberg. Gave explicit proof of what we all have known for quite a while. Administration's manipulating the people through the press.

Congress isn't going to let Obama bumble the relationship we have with Israel too much. It is also clear with the world's events which side Obama is on in the ME. Lemme clue the blind in -- It's not Israel.

From his first call as President being to Abbas to his Cairo visit and speech, to sitting by and watching as many controlled or contained Islamic countries fell by way of revolution. From his lead from behind, begrudging assistance on Libya, to his complete and total botching of the US Embassy being over ran and then the cover up to say a friggin video caused it rather than a planned assault coinciding with an anniversary of a National Tragedy...To his soft mouth approach with Iran and his support of then Syrian rebels now ISIS -- precursor to a caliphate. To his bend over and take whatever conditions the Iraqi's demanded, leaving empty handed in Iraq To his negotiating and working with the Taliban in Afghanistan

Does any more really need to be said?

I don't believe in coincidence nor do I believe in conspiracy.

This can't be incompetence it must be deliberate. NO ONE CAN BE THIS SCREWED UP BY MISTAKE.

He has single handedly put damn near every single country in the ME in control of the precise people he was suppose to keep out of power.

If I were Bibi I'd never speak to the man again. Obama's treif, not suitable for consumption, he's an ars...

Aw, poor, fragile administration hacks....They are all hurt that Bibi plans to talk to congress after being invited...Who the hell do they think they are, that Netanyahu has to "ask their permission? What a joke...I guess they should expect this after all the snubs that Obama regularly shows Israel...Like making Netanyahu wait while he went up and ate dinner....

Greetings, j-mac. :2wave:

George H W Bush vomited at a dinner party in Japan in 1992 that was hosted by the Prime Minister of Japan. Was that a snub to Japan? The Japanese didn't think so, and neither did anyone else, and we have had good relations with Japan for years.

Now to ask us to believe that Netanyahu spat in Obama's, or anyone else's face, while being a guest in this country is just not believable, ! What could have happened, if anything really did, is that he sneezed unexpectedly and didn't get his handkerchief over his mouth in time. The unexpected happens, even to Presidents and Prime Ministers of countries.. Netanyahu is not a common street thug, and to attempt to paint him as one is disgusting and a disgrace to this country! I might expect that behavior from a terrorist, and it wouldn't surprise me, but from Netanyahu? NO! Let's not forget that it was Netanyahu who was forced to use the servant's door that opened to an alley to depart the WH on an earlier visit. If anyone has a reason to feel insulted by that rude behavior, it could be him, but he didn't complain - our own media ran the story in outrage- he didn't have to say a word!

You have not posted any facts.

Isreal has one of the most well trained millitaries in the Middle East.

As you know, a well trained military is great for fighting conventional wars. Terrorists who hide amongst civilians are a different story.

I encourage you to join a unit deploying to Afghanistan to further your education on fighting terrorism.

But, but, playing the race card is off limits to the liberals. Got a little bit of double standard there do we?

If it's off limits to the liberals, why does it happen constantly? lol

What exactly does fighting terrorism have anything to with Iran and isreal.

Congress isn't going to let Obama bumble the relationship we have with Israel too much.

What relationship? We give them money and weaponry which they turn around and sell to China and we get what in return...Bibi's everlasting gratitude? Some relationship.

So you're saying our military or Israel's is not trained in guerrilla warfare or anti terrorist tactics? Did you just crawl out from under a rock? Were you really in the military or are you one of those pretenders?

Did you check an see if the UN compliance/Sanctions committee had a report.

Aaaaah.....and here you thought it was just something from Dec. But then lets go back to May of 2014.

UN Experts: Iran's pursuit of illicit materials appears to slow amid nuclear talks
Classified UN document seen by Reuters, however, cautions that the Islamic Republic may be 'outsmarting' intelligence agencies in its pursuit of sensitive components
.

The report said it had become increasingly difficult to pinpoint any links between "dual-use" items - those with both civilian and military applications - that Iran has sought to procure and potential recipients in the Islamic Republic. But, the report cautioned, "this may be a function of more sophisticated procurement strategies on the part of Iran, which has developed methods of concealing procurement, while expanding prohibited activities. Such methods can also be used by Iran to procure and finance legitimate trade, which further complicates the efforts of states to identify illicit procurement."

Despite the apparent dip in procurement activity, Iran has continued to try to obtain items that could play an important role in its enrichment of uranium, the report said. "Iran has been attempting to procure high-grade carbon fiber for use in the manufacturing of some of its centrifuge rotors," the experts said, adding that Tehran has also sought to procure aluminum and other dual-use materials. "Iran continues to make extensive use of front companies to procure items for prohibited activities. Some companies may be established solely for the purpose of prohibited procurement. Others may also be engaged in legitimate business.

Sometimes Iran uses legitimate enterprises to acquire key technology. The report, which includes detailed annexes, cited an example of how Iran used its petrochemical industry as a facade to procure crucial items for its heavy-water nuclear reactor at Arak, a plant that has proven to be a big sticking point in Tehran's nuclear negotiations with the powers.....snip~

Funny how FP found that Report. Seems the charge was in there already and seen by Reuters back in May. Now FP cites a document compiled by the US and told by Diplomatic Sources that there was an increase in procurement. Stating exactly what Reuters Reported.

Amazing isn't it.....and certainly BO and his Team knew all along.

If it goes online in its current form, the Arak reactor will yield significant amounts of weapons-grade plutonium. The United States and its European allies want Iran to either scrap the project or convert it to an unthreatening light-water reactor. Tehran has hinted that it would not oppose modifying the plant.

Iran is the one behind the Shia.

Gulf states condemn attempted 'coup' in Yemen, back president.....

Gulf foreign ministers on Wednesday accused Shia militia in Yemen of attempting to stage a "coup" against President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi, a day after the Huthi fighters seized the presidential palace.

"The states of the Gulf Cooperation Council consider what happened in Sanaa on Tuesday... a coup against the legitimate authority," the ministers said in a statement following an emergency meeting in Riyadh.

The GCC also expressed support for the "constitutionally legitimate authority" of Hadi, and rejected "all measures aimed at imposing change by force".....snip~

Then today.

Yemen president quits, throwing country deeper into chaos.....

"This is a coup," said Ahmed al-Fatesh, a hotel security supervisor, suggesting Hadi had been bullied from office. "The Houthis took power by force. Hadi is a legitimate president and was elected by more than 6 million Yemenis. Hadi tried to bring the political forces together."

This was a reference to a standoff between Hadi and the Shi'ite Muslim Houthi movement which this week has been holding the president a virtual prisoner in his official residence.....snip~

They now hold the Parliament captive. Plus the Defense Minster.

Iran and Saudi are battling it out. In Iran Sunni and the other sect are treated like crap- In Saudi the Shia and others are treated like crap.
Major reason why Iraq fell apart.

Greetings, Napoleon. :2wave:

I have never heard that before. Do you have a citation?

Then perhaps you can enlighten me and explain exactly what it is we receive in return for our investment.

Insolence is never rewarded.

Your first mistake of many was making this a partisan issue. The reason Obama has P.M. Cameron lobbying the Senate is because there is a support for Israel on the left and a number of democrats that are not on board with the president and his Iran policies. As far as the hostility toward Israel that Obama brought with him into the presidency? Six years into his presidency clearly makes that case.

As the PM f one of the countries involved, he has that right. He is not runninf for election. He did not address the Senators in the Senate. He made public his statement and called certain Senators.
Bibi is running for election, and this is nothing than a partisan move to garner support for more sanctions.

Cameron joins Obama in trying to head off new Iran sanctions | AustraliaNews.com.au
The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs has scheduled a hearing on the “strategic necessity of Iran sanctions” for Jan. 20.

Cameron said he called several U.S. lawmakers Friday morning and planned to contact more. U.K. officials said he planned to talk with three Republican senators, Senate Armed Services Chairman John McCain, Foreign Relations Chairman Bob Corker, and Kirk, who said in November it was “critical” for Congress to enact tougher sanctions on Iran.

Its not called the Sectarian Divide for nothing. Although now the Saud do have the challenge from Baghdadi.

Anti-semetic? I don't know if I'd go that far, but he certainly hasn't shown much respect for our Israeli allies, and throughout his life he chose to associate and befriend some very influential people who were anything but friends to the Jewish people.

As for the part about him wanting Iran to exterminate the Jews, that's just ridiculous. Who made such a claim anyway?

Now that I have addressed your questions, and done so in a respectful and civil manner, do you think you could tell me what the Palestinians did immediately after Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005?

Go back to the first few pagers of the Thread my friend and, sad to say it is there.

I think you need to move to Israel. Your loyalties sure aren't here.

Obama sets the world ablaze and my loyalties are in question?

:lamo

Sure, ok there buddy...

Its not called the Sectarian Divide for nothing. Although now the Saud do have the challenge from Baghdadi.

And these are the root causes that will continue to drag the West into them.
Yemen has a very complicated history. And that is saying a lot considering the rest of the countries in the ME.

Its not just Arak, its also Parchin and their ballistic missiles program.

The same week Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said that Iran will not give IAEA inspectors access to Parchin military base. Yukiya Amano has noted previously that access to the Parchin base was essential for the Agency to be in position to certify Iran's nuclear programme as peaceful.[135] Tehran was supposed to provide the IAEA with information related to the initiation of high explosives and to neutron transport calculations until August 25, but it failed to address these issues.[136] The two issues are associated with compressed materials that are required to produce a warhead small enough to fit on top of a missile.[137] During its October 7–8 meetings with IAEA in Tehran, Iran failed to propose any new practical measures to resolve the disputable issues.....snip~

There are many steps toward nuclear weapons.[139] However, an effective nuclear weapons capability has only three major elements:[140]
Fissile or nuclear material in sufficient quantity and quality
Effective means for delivery, such as a ballistic missile
Design, weaponization, miniaturization, and survivability of the warhead

Evidence presented by the IAEA has shown that Iran has pursued all three of these elements: it has been enriching uranium for more than ten years and is constructing a heavy water reactor to produce plutonium, it has a well-developed ballistic missile program, and it has tested high explosives and compressed materials that can be used for nuclear warheads.[141] Some analysts believe that Iran's nuclear program should be negotiated in its entirety — it must include not only fissile material discussions but also ballistic missile development and weaponization issues.[142][143]....snip~

I am aware of those.
Reason we have to at least negotiate.
Other than that the other end is extended sanction, which I agree with or bombing Iran.
And that would only slow things down.
