Greetings, j-mac. :2wave:
George H W Bush vomited at a dinner party in Japan in 1992 that was hosted by the Prime Minister of Japan. Was that a snub to Japan? The Japanese didn't think so, and neither did anyone else, and we have had good relations with Japan for years.
Now to ask us to believe that Netanyahu spat in Obama's, or anyone else's face, while being a guest in this country is just not believable, ! What could have happened, if anything really did, is that he sneezed unexpectedly and didn't get his handkerchief over his mouth in time. The unexpected happens, even to Presidents and Prime Ministers of countries.. Netanyahu is not a common street thug, and to attempt to paint him as one is disgusting and a disgrace to this country! I might expect that behavior from a terrorist, and it wouldn't surprise me, but from Netanyahu? NO! Let's not forget that it was Netanyahu who was forced to use the servant's door that opened to an alley to depart the WH on an earlier visit. If anyone has a reason to feel insulted by that rude behavior, it could be him, but he didn't complain - our own media ran the story in outrage- he didn't have to say a word!
