Really? So you who says that the kids are going to have sex anyway, isn't the problem eh? No, it's those of is whom don't want unborn children killed in the womb, we're the problem...think about how dumb that logic sounds.
I will agree though that we aren't doing enough to support these teen fathers taking responsibility, or instilling the values of waiting til real love, and marriage though.
Actually, I practiced abstinence until I was married and I encouraged our 4 children to remain abstinent during their teens and early 20s. I also reinforced that birth control is should be used properly every time they had sex when they became sexually active until they wanted to start a family.
3 of my children were married in their late 20s and they each started their families 1 to 3 years after their marriages.
My older son has remained single.
I am a strong advocate for encouraging using contraceptives if one is sexually active and does not want children.
Birth control especially long term birth control has been the most effective tool for reducing elective abortions.
