Dems change tune after mocking GOP for ‘drill, baby, drill’

well that's all well and good. the main point to recognize though is that increased production in the U.S. is only one of a large number of factors contributing to the massive drop in prices.

Thanks for admitting that it worked, and consequently you agree that Obama and the Dems that mocked "Drill baby drill" are ****ing idiots.

Way to completely ignore the rest of his post.

Lower global oil prices are not exclusively due to increased U.S. production.

We are producing more oil, which means we import less, which means more supply for the other nations of the world which means lower prices.

The Fox article cited in the OP mentions no other factors.

The article doesn't have to be about other factors. Obama et al said drilling for oil would do nothing at all, that it was just a gimmick. He was wrong, but of course he doesn't know **** about it, he should have shut his mouth to start with. Obvious he also paid his advisers to blow smoke up his ass because there was only one answer that was acceptable and it wasn't going to include drilling for oil.

And all OPEC has to do is scale back production and prices go right back up. You're also ignoring that demand is a principal factor in pricing. Demand, for whatever reason, is dropping.

Nobody said drilling would do "nothing at all." However, the idea that increased production alone magically drops gas prices IS a gimmick. Oil is a global commodity with numerous factors in play.

And we can ram up production, and it will do almost nothing.

Yes, that is do to a Global Economical slow down, leading to a stale, possibly leading to a Massive Restructuring of currency and its backing and or Economical collapse.

What he does is pick up the goalpost, and moves it over there. AKA Kobies dance.

I think someone needs to look up what moving the goalposts means, since that ain't what I did. Yet another lie from you.

Okay, I see you're just going to double down on your pride and not admit you and Obama and the rest were wrong. No one ever claimed oil drilling alone made all the difference, but I'll bet it made most of the diff. Believe what you want, but you are wrong.

We have a much more resilient economy and natural resources. If OPEC wants to play long term they loose.

Kobie, as important as demand is supply in determining cost. Why are you being circuitous?

Obama said we can't-and yet we have. Was he wrong?

He doesn't want to admit that a supposed constitutional scholar doesn't know jack**** about oil.

Kobie, I noticed you are still refusing to answer my question. Why can't you admit Obama and the democrat party (including its leftists) were wrong on this?

In fact the difference between the rich and poor has grown, the middle is shrinking and real wages have gone down since Obama gained the Presidency.

Obsessed? You feel the national debt isn't a concern? Do you even know how many trillions of dollars BHO has managed to rack up in six years?
No, I don't think you do.

Yes, I do believe you Obama haters are obsessed.

Now I was wrong? When did I offer my opinion on oil drilling?

I don't think you have the slightest clue how gas prices work.
