J.K. Rowling Feuds With Rupert Murdoch After 'Jihadist Cancer' Tweet - NBC News

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/11/jk-rowling-rupert-murdoch_n_6453306.html

Rupert murdoch made a post stating that Islam has a growing Jihadist cancer that they are responsible for.

A user who defended him stated that Islam "is anti-humanity."

J.K. Rowling then combats his tweets with replies like "8 times more Muslims have been killed by so called Islamic terrorists than non muslims"

#1 fail, the user stated that Islam was anti-humanity, and she refuted his point by posting a fact that more Muslims are killed than non muslims by jihadists. THAT DOES NOTHING TO REFUTE THE POINT THAT ISLAM IS ANTI HUMANITY!!! She only served to prove the user's post, Islam is so anti-humanity that it even kills off its own members in addition to killing others, AND on a greater magnitude at that.

In direct response to Murdoch's post, J.K. Rowling also posted "I was born Christian. If that makes Rupert Murdoch my responsibility, I'll auto-excommunicate."

#2 It's kind of good smack, but serves to do nothing in terms of refuting the point Murdoch made in terms of Islam having a growing Jihadist cancer which it is responsible for. Rupert Murdoch is not some sort of mass murderer, rather, he is a very successful businessman who went on to own famous NEWS corporations and become a multi-billionaire. Therefor, if she is responsible for him and wanted to auto (self) excommunicate herself just because of that then that would only make her look moronic.

But of course, the huffington post like many other places, panders to political correctness. Murdoch had the balls to speak the truth considering the risks that come with saying something like that, and I sure as hell will not shun him for that.

Murdoch's point that Islam has a growing jihadist cancer that it must remove is absolutely correct. He never stated that all of Islam was bad like that moronic defender of his (who she failed to refute though, so his idiot post still stands by virtue of not being knocked down), by stating that Islam had a cancer essentially meant that:

#1 it's not all of Islam, but a small, yet RAPIDLY GROWING, sect of Islam (just as how cancer starts out small and rapidly develops when left unchecked)

#2 They're dangerous as all hell to their own kind as well as others

#3 They must and can be removed, but that ultimately has to be done by the Muslims themselves. You know, in the USA, if a Christian extremist beheaded someone that asshole would be tried and most likely sent to be executed like the dog he is. In the ME, there are tons of instances in which jihadists who cut off the heads of people not only are granted a sort of immunity by the governments and Muslim people, but are CHEERED for in the process of doing such things

You know, she writes about wizards and imaginary sporting events. I don't think we should be looking for impressive rejections of an exaggerated statement by Rupert Murdoch from such persons (on Twitter, no less).

True. Her debating/reading comprehension skills are certainly subpar to that of regular people (which is ironic considering she's a writer of books) considering that in an attempt to refute an idiot, she only served to strengthen said idiot's post.

Kind of unrelated, but you know it always bothered me about her books (other than that there blasphemous to our glorious heavenly father Odin) like in one of the books one of the evil snake people calls Hermione mud blood everyone is just so upset they take so much offense to that, but the whole book series they're referring to regular people as muggles and have a slur for the janitor guy because he apparently can't use magic. So it's like on one hand the book says to love one another, but on the other hand it portrays slurs for other groups of people is being acceptable parts of common speech it makes no sense

So I think I'll just start calling Muslims Muggles and then she'll have no problem with it

Murdoch controls the editorial policy of one sixth of your media. He tells Fox what to tell you to think.

How many people did he murder last week? The jihadist scored 17 kills.
