FBI investigating explosion outside NAACP office in Colorado - CNN.com

The makeshift bomb, or improvised explosive device, detonated late Tuesday morning but failed to ignite a gasoline can placed alongside it. No one was injured but the incident left some in Colorado Springs shaken.
"All of a sudden I heard this big boom," one witness told CNN affiliate KDVR. "There was smoke everywhere the building on the side was burnt."
The witness continued: "Whoever did it took off right away though. That's all I heard and it was scary."
The FBI has not said if the NAACP was specifically targeted. But some pointed out that the other tenant in the building, Mr. G's Hair Design Studios, likely was not.

Thankfully no one was hurt apparently.

"According to the the FBI, officials are seeking a "potential person of interest," described as a balding white male, about 40 years o;d."

dont know much yet but just talking off the top of my head and going off of OTHER cases ill never understand hate like that . . .

I mean id love to punch the westboro people in the face while they are protesting a funeral of a dead soldier that they think was gay but blow up thier building? no

same with the nut jobs and abortion clinic bombings, church bombings etc. Its takes a very very mentally disabled, evil, moronic and vile type of monster to do such crimes and support such crimes.

Re: FBI investigating explosion outside NAACP office in Colorado

Another right wing terror attack.... there are more and more of these.

Re: FBI investigating explosion outside NAACP office in Colorado

Racial progress is turning into racial regression. I hope the bomber is caught and, if he truly did intend to hit the NAACP, charged with a hate crime. Although, given he current climate, I wouldn't be surprised if the court went back to 1950s legislation and let him off.

Re: FBI investigating explosion outside NAACP office in Colorado

Can we at least wait until we know who did it before we start blaming the right? It could have just as easily been a left winger hoping that the right would be blamed for this. Anyone remember Ashley Todd? She carved a damn B on her face hoping people would blame Obama supporters for it. Some people are insane and political affiliation is impossible to determine at this point.

Really? So what about all the post Ferguson bombing attempts?

Or OWS bomb plots?

Very true, leftist are know for false flag events and or playing other groups that did not commit acts, case in point Mayor Bloomberg blaming the Tea Party and saying one of its members was responsible for the Time Square Bomb Attempt, Before being proven wrong.

Or MSNBC saying Jared Lee Loughner was a member of the Tea Party, but it was later proven he was a Leftist.

Or MSNBC saying James Holmes was a member of the Tea Party, but it was later proven he was not a member, but later proven he was not.

Or MSNBC saying Adam Lanza was a member of the Tea Party but it was later proven he was not.

Or Barry Frank saying it was a member of the Tea party that caused the Boston Bombing Before being proven wrong.

Anyone notice a pattern?

Yes. You only read right-wing blogs.

Yes. You only read right-wing blogs.

No, you just have to make a joke because it is a very come thing for the leftist media to blame the right for things it has not role in....

But hey great way to show how little you know..

I think that it was a guy who found out that his wife paid $200 for a haircut....

I see a disturbing pattern----you shouldn't be watching MSNBC.

Re: FBI investigating explosion outside NAACP office in Colorado

I really hope that the NAACP wasn't targeted and it wasn't a white person who did it, because the only thing that has prevented a pseudo race war or wide spread violence from breaking out across the country, has been the restraint and the lack of retaliation by people who oppose both the anti-white/anti-police message being expressed by protesters, and the ramped race baiting that's been taking place by politicians, pundits and the media since Obama took office back in 2009.

Is there any chance we could actually talk about the ****ing topic of the ****ing thread?

We are, and like always facts and pattern come to light "some" people do not like...

1. Interview on CBS, not MSNBC where neither Bloomberg or Couric makes no mention of Tea Party, only presumed. Does link an MSNBC radio show however no mention of Tea Party. /fail

2. LA Times, not MSNBC. Actually mentions the Tea Party but only in the context of 'liberal commentators blaming the attack on the violent imagery evoked by some "tea party"'. MSNBC is actually mentioned in the article though, only through a quote from Giffords on MSNBC. /fail

3. ABC news, not MSNBC. /fail

4. reference to ABC news, not MSNBC. /fail

5. CNN interview with Barney Frank, not MSNBC. no mention of Tea Party. /fail

Try again?
