The Clan of the Red Beanies ain't happy with this man they picked to lead them. He's been going after the corruption to be found within the church since his selection and has upset some of those who thought he would be like others and just go along with the 'system'

(Reuters) - The Vatican's top administrators would have been expecting an exchange of pleasantries at their annual Christmas meeting with Pope Francis on Monday.

Instead, he chose the occasion to issue a stinging critique, telling the priests, bishops and cardinals who run the Curia, the central administration of the Roman Catholic Church, that careerism, scheming and greed had infected them with "spiritual Alzheimer's".

Francis, the first non-European pope in 1,300 years, has refused many of the trappings of office and made plain his determination to bring the Church's hierarchy closer to its 1.2 billion members.

Ironically, the Pope seems to better understand what the Catholic Church aristocracy failed to learn.
 
I had been seeing this guy as overrated, but he gets props for this.
 
Francis is the last Pope. I think that he believes that too.

If Christ does come back and get things in order he'll probably be crucified again as the antichrist by nuthobs like yourself. Don't ever overestimate the intelligence of religious followers.

Its in the bible. Its no conspiracy. We are the last generation. We will experience The Great Tribulation and the End Times. The end is nigh my friend. Repent before its too late.

And like most end of times warnings, we are still here. Even just limited to those that follow a flavor of Christianity suggesting the end of times, we are still here. Should tell us something.

Either you are trolling or you have no grasp of history. The number of times when mankind was supposedly the "last generation" approaches infinity. In every instance, at least in Western civilisation, the Bible was quoted as "proof" that the END WAS NIGH !!! Funny how that works, when it don't happen, the gullible just move along until the next 'prophet' begins to babble.

On the topic - already I am reading sites - tinfoil hat types - who are absolutely positive that the Holy Father will soon suffer an "accident". The Church's hierarchy doesn't like losing the bennies they have become accustomed to.

I've noticed that some elderly alledged Christains that have one foot in the grave and another on a bannana peel desperately hope the end times are here. It's like "hey I'm going soon so I want the world to go down the crapper too. I sure don't want the world to go on just fine without me!"
