Elizabeth Warren to Dems: Kill the bill

Well, tell us about the quote and how it's a lie. Before I discuss this further with you I want to know if you have an understanding of the topic or if you're just lobbing out bumper sticker phrases like "You didn't build that!" or "What difference does it make!"

And anybody who brings up the Native American thing has already ceded the right to be taken seriously.

You people are so bitter about the Democrats getting voted out, there's nothing that you'll listen to.

Oh please get them on the ticket...I can't think of a better Christmas present.

It'd be like Ohio State vs Wisconsin all over again.

She basically said blacks are incapable of making their own personal financial decisions. I mean, how much can be expected of them, right? They're just blacks after all.

But no, WE'RE the racists.

yeah, a couple of these are deal killers.

Here's what's tucked in the spending bill - CNN.com

Omnibus shows Obama losing grip on Pentagon spending - Austin Wright and Jeremy Herb and Jen Judson - POLITICO

it's really hard to not give up on the process when it's being purchased. i suppose at some point, i'll just stop paying attention and live my life. watching us get robbed by assholes pushing policies that i'm against so much that i've considered moving abroad is just too frustrating, and it doesn't do any good.

our dickhead congress is worthless.

So that's two people who are too lazy to research her quote. Would anybody else like to showcase their ignorance for all to see?

Gawd. Pure douchebaggery.

Not you, Helix. The contents of the bill.

Nobody cares about this overblown librarian.

Lol, well as long as you've got a shovel you might as well keep digging, I guess.

I see someone has doubled down on the "showcase your ignorance" challenge.

Don't want to discuss Dennis Kucinich either, although he's more relevant than Warren and Bernie combined.

It's amazing how quickly the hate came. Instead of addressing the BS they're trying to toss on America, you attack Warren? Seriously?

Some situations are above political squabbling... or it should be. Allowing asshats to put America on the hook for their screws up should be one of those "above the noise" situations. But, I guess nothing is above party politics for some.

Wall Street and corporations influencing the creation of bills is agreed by everybody to be at the core of everything that's wrong with Washington. Unless it's Elizabeth Warren who's doing the criticizing, in which case Conservatives agree that corporate and Wall Street influence is sweeter than the singing of the sweet baby Jesus.

Sorry the point was lost on you. When I talk college football, I don't bring up William & Mary. Likewise.....Bernie and Liz.

Oh, never mind.

To borrow from their playbook, this must mean they're scared of her.

*Pulling out party card*
Republicans have a clear history of raping regulations that are meant to rein in destructive business behaviors.
*Putting party card away*

The only way to stamp out corruption in Washington is for the people to put folks in power that will stop it. If this doesn't get Americans as a nation upset and unified over an issue, I don't know what will ever do it.

Your credibility went out the window when you complained about right wing hackery.

Let me guess: the very people that will stop it are Liberals?

Elizabeth Warren to Dems: Kill the bill - Seung Min Kim - POLITICO

I expect both left and right to fight against this type of economic nonsense that allows the worst players to raid the American taxpayers.

I find this quite amusing, hypocritical and downright pathetic.

1. "closed door negotiations"...that wasn't a problem back in 2009, but it is now, eh?
2. The Party that constantly called for "compromise", that never actually compromised unless they were forced to it kicking and screaming, STILL can't bring themselves to compromise. Just who do they think they are?
3. Warren plays a very dangerous game and I suspect her own Party is going to shut her down. They certainly can't afford to be labeled as the Party that shuts down the government and the more they oppose Congress in the next two years the worse things will be for them in 2016.
4. If Warren drags the ultra-leftwing loonies along with her...effectively creating a kind of lefty Tea Party...she will do irreparable damage to the Democratic Party. I hope she goes for it.

To borrow from their playbook, this must mean they're scared of her.

I think if their scared of her, it's the exact same way that the left is scared the Tea Party will shut down the government or throw it into chaos. In fact, what Warren is doing reminds me a lot of the Tea Party. Not in policy mind you, but the tactics certainly.

Oh please get them on the ticket...I can't think of a better Christmas present.

Careful what you wish for. Warren would break Hillary in the primaries, just like Obama did. Then you basically have President Warren, because Republicans can't beat her.

To borrow from their playbook, this must mean they're scared of her.

I'm very scared of her. If she was elected president, she would make Obama look like a great president.
