Satanic Temple display approved for Florida Capitol

Abortion is enough to answer your question, these goalposts don't have wheels

So it's not Christian points of view being forced on you, it's abortion laws, correct?

Was 'your lady' unable to have the abortion you both wanted?

Motivated by Christianity for the most part so this makes it me being the victim of people forcing their religion on me.

One of my children is due to such restrictions, yes but from my ex wife

It's not indirect. It's not there at all. People like you applaud what people like them are doing. And the "people like them" are the atheists posing as Satanists to try to make a point. When you hit rock bottom, stop digging. Or at least that's what you should be doing instead of reaching for the pickaxe and having a go at the rock bottom. Just sayin'.

Athiests posing as Satanists are not all that different from Westboro and da Reverend Al and Jesse posing as Christians.

No one is forcing their religion on you. If so you'd be forced into Church regularly and told what to believe and what not do believe.

There are people of all religions and people with no religion, who disapprove of abortion. Do you genuinely understand this fact, or are you going on your feelings?

Then these laws weren't religiously motivated as this is the only requirement.

For a long time society agreed that sodomy was wrong and should be illegal as well.

And now, that's not the case. Most people support gay marriage. Society changed.

So if 100 years from now the majority supported legalizing murder, would that be ok?

When that actually happens, let us know. It's a moot point until then.

I'm aware that society has become degenerate.

You're not making sense.
The logic is easy

There is a law

It is enacted mostly due to religious motivations

That law inhibited my life and free choices

Therefore I was harmed due to religion.

People make themselves appear to be fools when they assume they know what another person thinks or when they seem to be incapable of reading what is written.

So is it that you forgot why you misspelled American and put it in quotes? Who were you quoting?

Actually I would expect to see just that if the displays are on public property.

It's called the law of unintended consequences.

The whole thing is unintended consequences. Florida opened up public displays to their buddies at mega-churches only to find that atheists and Satanists had First Amendment rights too.

Sucks when you learn that other people have rights equal to yours.

Yes, i suppose we can never underestimate stupid. There are fewer adults around walking around than there once was, that's certain.

We all have similar rights, but it seems we don't all have the discretion, or decency, to allow others to enjoy the time to celebrate their beliefs.

Nobody is stopping you from enjoying the time to celebrate your beliefs. Put the display on the lawn of your church, the parsonage, on a site owned by a parishoner. You can then exclude anyone you want, or invite anyone you want. But your rights don't allow you to prevent others from exercising theirs on public property.

I'm not trying to prevent others from exercising their rights. Where have I ever claimed that?

What I am saying is that cluttering up a traditional display, rather than just doing a live and let live thing, is adolescent and ignorant.

Would these people ever do the same in front of a mosque? Or temple? Of course not!

They have their freedom to put up their Satanic symbols, with beer cans attached, while others have the right to call them deeply stupid. They will live in an eternal spring break with wisdom, understanding and tolerance never being their ambition, or within their reach.

Are you suggesting that athiests and Satanists have some sort of time manipulation device that prevents Christians from having 24hrs in a day?

You better call the Justice League to take on these time-warping menace to society!
