Almost as a joke.

There is always the real danger that the PC police will replace the real police and authorities will protect/not investigate crimes done by certain groups of people. See Britain with muslim rape gangs. After all, if you basically tell the cops, as in, white cops, to never do anything to blacks, even criminals, or else they may lose their job... well what do you know, they'll start doing that. All of them, on individual levels, will take the decision to not lose their jobs and that's how you stop having a police force but a PC police.
And you know what the downside of that will be? First and foremost, it's going to be black neighborhoods and blacks that will hurt the most as more and more criminals will start popping out and the fears of the POlice will be dissipated.

This was the first such case. Maybe next year we'll have another. The media loves the attention whoring it gets whenever such crimes happen and the race-baiters love it too. Sooner or later, people will get the message and conform to the new reality.

Since he is deceased, Brown doesn't get a "next time".

I would have waited for more police officers to arrive on the scene. More importantly than that is that I would not ever be in that situation, since the last thing I would want to be is a cop. Cops are like condoms, they have an important job to do, but nobody really likes them.

His testimony indicated that he was trying to buy time while waiting for backup.

Brown ruined that quickly.

You obviously know little. People are more resilient than you think. There are cases of large guys taking shotgun blasts (buckshot) to the body and they lived. 9mm slugs to the cheat and walked around like nothing happened.

... his 15 minutes of fame has just begun.... he will be fine. Moreover, he is alive... if his life were truly in danger (which was probably more his perception than reality), then he is better off today than he could have been on the "fateful day"....

Only doing his job? Wilson may have been within rights, but Michael Brown's death most likely would have been prevented by a competent cop. We never get to know the answer to that, since there was no trial.

Sorry, Wilson was no saint in this. It was time for him to move on. Good riddance. He can now enjoy is $500,000 "defense fund"

Now we are dealing with the incompetent cop that either escalated the situation and/or did not know how to diffuse it such that an unarmed man was killed.

Don't need to. I don't have any problems with my neighbors. My neighborhood is peaceful, and it's mostly Hispanic.
