Boehner: I'm ready to 'reappoint' members to special Benghazi panel in new Congress

Re: Boehner: I'm ready to 'reappoint' members to special Benghazi panel in new Congre

The Republican led Committee didn't adress the fact that Obama, Hillary and the Democrats perpetuated a false narrative for the purpose of covering up the deaths of 4 American citizens.
That's not my fault; I was not on the committee. ;)

What it sounds like from you is that you don't care that no one was at fault for Benghazi, so you are still sadly hanging onto the talking points by Miss Rice immediately after the attack, much like Graham is.

From the report (getting repeatative much?):

Fourth, the Committee concludes that after the attacks, the early intelligence assessments and the Administration's initial public narrative on the causes and motivations for the attacks were not fully accurate. There was a stream of contradictory and conflicting intelligence that came in after the attacks. The Committee found intelligence to support CIA's initial assessment that the attacks had evolved out of a protest in Benghazi; but it also found contrary intelligence, which ultimately proved to be the correct intelligence. There was no protest. The CIA only changed its initial assessment about a protest on September 24, 2012, when closed caption television footage became available on September 18, 2012 (two days after Ambassador Susan Rice spoke), and after the FBI began publishing its interviews with U.S. officials on the ground on September 22,2012.

Why is that so important, was due to them attacking us. When we were given 3 days notice from the Libyans prior to 911 of a possible attack. After threats were made on Stevens life. BO and his Team immediately and persistently characterized what had occurred in Benghazi not as an act of terrorism, but as a spontaneous, unplanned uprising that happened, coincidentally, to take place on the anniversary of 9/11. Moreover, the administration portrayed the attack as an event that had evolved from what began as a low-level protest against an obscure YouTube video that disparaged Muslims and their faith. In reality, however, within a few hours following the attack, U.S. intelligence agencies had already gained more than enough evidence to conclude unequivocally that the attack on the mission in Benghazi was a planned terrorist incident, not a spontaneous act carried out in reaction to a video. Indeed, the video had nothing whatsoever to do with the attack.

Given the realities it is likely that the Bo Team's post-September 11 actions were aimed at drawing public attention away from a number of highly important facts. Which then has to do with the What the State Dept has Denied and testified to and the CIA.

No, that's why I have up Graham Statement as to the Senate Intelligence Committee and as to the House Intel Committees. Moreover A Select committee is made up of both parties. Although there was only One Select House Intel Committee not 6. Gowdy was the Start of second earlier this year and the only to enforce action with Depositions. Also Graham has been calling for a Congressional Select Committee. Senate and House. So its not just Boehner.

And LOVE how your'e dealing with the beat down the Democrats received a couple of weeks ago.

LOVE IT !! Keep it up.

Keep up the delusional justification of your party's thorough beat down.

Obama said it was HIS policies on the ballot.

Thank you Peebo. You were honest just once and it did the GOP a world of good.

Re: Boehner: I'm ready to 'reappoint' members to special Benghazi panel in new Congre

Actually, the President did characterize the event as "an act of terror". What he didn't do was call it an out-right "terrorist act". Semantics...a play on words...perhaps and to some it makes a difference. Frankly, I didn't get all that caught up in such a characterization. Why? Because it's all about putting things in perspective. I mean, whose "he lied" turned admission of truth did more significant harm? Pres. Obama's 3-day delay on calling Benghazi a terrorist attack or former Pres. GW Bush finally admitting the evidence that brought us to war w/Iraq was faulty years later? A little perspective goes a long way. I try not to get wrapped around the axial over small stuff.

Maybe so, but 3 years, 6 investigations and a few Congressional Hearing later and they've found nothing hinting of any wrong doing. So, what "highly important facts" do you think they're hiding that haven't already been made public?

One.....who Sent Stevens to meet a Turk Envoy in Libya, In Benghazi, on the Anniversary of 911, when the Turks had no Embassy in Libya. Two Who refused to listen to the Libyans and their 3 day advance notice Prior Sept 11. 3 Who Hired Ansar al Sharia failing to do a full background check on them? How did man-pads from Libya end up in Syria?

The U.S. mission in Benghazi had never adopted adequate security measures.
The administration had ignored dozens of warning signs about growing Islamic extremism and jihadism in the region over a period of more than 6 months.
The administration, for political reasons, had ignored or denied repeated requests for extra security by American diplomats stationed in Benghazi.
The administration had failed to beef up security even for the anniversary of 9/11, a date of obvious significance to terrorists.

The administration had hired members of the February 17th Martyrs' Brigade, a Libyan militia group with clear al Qaeda sympathies, to provide security at the U.S. mission in Benghazi; and throughout 2011 and 2012 the administration had been lending its assistance to jihadists affiliated with al Qaeda, supposedly the organization that represented the prime focus of Obama's anti-terrorism efforts; moreover, some of those same jihadists had personally fought against U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As Hillary and others have said.....plenty of unanswered questions. Which we already know there was a failure of Intel. In the end.....it was Team BO that tried to depict the events other than what the reality actually was.
