Officer Wilson pens letter to supporters

Having that evidence for everybody to see the encounter, beginning to end, would matter a lot.

After such a violent struggle within the car, do you think said camera would be operational enough for that? For all we know if it would still be working it could be pointing down to the ground with no audio. I think Wilson benefited greatly with the physical evidence. Regardless, camera or no camera he is still out of a police job at Ferguson.

That's my point. The camera is not perfect in all situations. Given there was initially a big struggle (he was shoved and struck several times) there is a good chance that the camera wouldn't record anything beyond that missing the critical moments. not saying cameras would be bad or not useful just not 100% reliable or solve all problems. In this case it could possibly not mattered at all.

I don't consider myself a supporter of either side, but I think Wilson would have greatly benefited from a body/head camera.

I agree with "Go-Pros"... But just beware what you wish for...False narratives like the one employed here would be gone for good with something like that...

I support them too, but they will still find a way to introduce the false narratives.
