Have you ever read anything about the old Panthers? Their party program was about equality and civil rights. Their party program was focused around equality in education, housing, employment and civil rights. They were no way comparable to the Nazis or the KKK.

Yea. They were influenced by the Maoist political philosophy. I thought you claimed they were racists? Maoism is against racism... You are literally disproving your own points as you go on.

1.)Im guessing you never read any of Maos works.
2.)Maoism at its basic points of the ideology is about internationalism, which is inherently anti-racist
3.)Black Panthers were again its basic 4 points in its party program (which im also guessing you have not read) are: equality in education, housing, employment and civil rights.
4.)You should probably look up the Rainbow Coalition founded by Fred Hampton, who was the national chariman of the BPP....

Saying the old Panthers were for equality is like saying hard line (and let's face it, most of them) feminists are for equality.

They believed in superiority over the white men, though I'm not against a group wanting to arm and teach Southern Blacks to defend themselves.

I've never heard a gay act superior to a straight person, that's not something I can say for either the Panthers or Feminists. I could be wrong but, for them, they've been more interested in just getting their foot in the door.
 
On an aside and since there isn't a thread for this yet, what do you think the decision is going to be in the case? I feel bad for the officer personally, because there's almost no chance for justice. It just feels like that everyone wants vengeance and don't care what the facts of the case are. He may be guilty of something, but nothing to warrant all this.

No they simply did not. Its amazing how some people try to rewrite history. They were a militant civil rights organization. In nowhere did they state that they are "more superior" to whites.

I guess that depends on how one views both organization. I've heard some of Malcolm X, it was pretty clear where he stood on "equality". I get it though; he felt like he had to right the wrongs of the past hundred years or so, and if the whites weren't going to do it, then he would. And he didn't care how many whites he'd have to kill. In fact, didn't he once say something the only good white man or something. I could and probably completely wrong on that last part but it sounds like Malcolm X.

See, it's the militant part that messes with the whole "equality thing". I never got the impression that they wanted to merely protect those who couldn't, but wanted to hurt the white man, to make them feel the pain they did, or is that not so?

I've just never heard a gay person talk down to me in any way, or belittle me for being straight, like I've heard women taking jabs at men for just being men.
