George Bush Interview- Hannity

Never ceases to amaze me. Even in a thread about a Republican president being interviewed on a right-wing network, the usual retrograde hacks line up to whine about Obama some more.

You guys won't know what to do when he's gone. You're literally obsessed with him.

I sense you've already burst into tears at this unfair treatment of dear President. Quit bawling and and pull yourself together!

Go sell your garbage to someone who gives a **** about your opinion.

Its interesting you say that, his mother in law lives with him, no doubt at great expense to the tax payer. But Obama is a multimillionaire, his brother could probably live like a king in Kenya (the lion king?) for 30K a year. And yet he lives in a shanty and dines on bush meat. Hows that for social justice?

Not to make this a partisan issue but I'd just like to point out. It is always the liberals who say conservatives are ignoring the poor. Yet the leader of them also ignores the poor in his own family. I'm an almost positive if Bush found out he had a brother in Australia, he would take him in with open arms and treat him to all the luxury and advantages that comes with the Bush name. I'm not so sure with Clinton and his "illegitimate black child though".

Barack Obama is "the leader of the liberals"? Since when?

Comparisons of Presidents, and their lives and families are going to be made.

Actually that's a good point. Liberals are always saying that the community and working together and tolerance are all necessary important things. Heck, Obama even started as a community organizer. Though, he shows deep love for his children and Michelle, why doesn't the community organizer, have a close working relationship with his rather large and extended family? Most of the other presidents have close relationships with their extended family, but even Obama's brothers are not privy to his lifestyle.

I have always felt that was rather odd. He has relatives that are the poorest of the poor. I remember watching an interview with one of them on Fox News, and I swear the guy wasn't wearing any shoes. But that might just be the culture in Kenya. He also has some Uncle or something that runs a liquor store in NYC. His relatives are always humble and when asked questions about Barack, they always say he is too busy to keep in contact with them. Or that he has the important job of running the country. Those may be courted answers however. As I would be mad if one of my relatives never invited me to the White House if they became President. Obama if he cared about those people in his family should be out there parading them around, then after the fact. They should say these things about him. It seems like he just ignores most of his extended family and never even attempts to or try to help them out.

EDIT: Ok it wasn't no shoes, but it was a shed: Obama's slumdog brother: Meet the hopeless drunk from a Nairobi shanty town who is the U.S. President's BROTHER | Daily Mail Online

From what I've seen, the job of community organizer is what we call a 'poverty pimp', which holds with my assessment of his character. He is too self centered and thin skinned to be effective at understanding the complex needs of mixed racial community. Even his pledges of unity "it's not about red states or blue states, it's about the United States" sound canned, the closer you listen the more you see the "sincerity" as faked.

I believe he is too self centered to even have a half brother, in his upbringing he was always the only child of what had to be doting grandparents. I don't think he can share a limelight. He surrounds himself with lesser stars with the exception of Hillary, people who are not inclined to say "Mr. President saying people can keep their plan when we know that they can't might not be a such a brilliant idea..."

I am confused too at his choice in a wife. It strikes me he would need some off line comfort, a place to retreat to like many powerful men. Instead he seems to have chosen an anger driven woman with vengeance on her mind and equally insecure. I never believed she actually care what other kids had for lunch, but they needed a 'first lady issue' to make her look like Jackie or something. She's something of a war horse with the class and taste of a farm wife while he exhibits a great character and excellent taste, the man's suits and the way they hang on him are to die for.

Yup point out the most partisan thing on this thread and make an issue of it. Either you can talk about the families of Presidents as what this thread is about. Or you are always free to leave.

I thought the thread was about George W. Bush's interview with Sean Hannity.

I agree, in fact I wouldnt even expect him to keep his family living opulently, but if its family, and he's poor I'd do my best to help.

As stated elsewhere. This is a thread about Presidents and their families. I believe I made that clear when I stated in my OP that both presidents have written books about their fathers.

This is a breaking news forum. The fact that both presidents have written books about their fathers is not "breaking news."

But whatever, continue on with the wankfest.

Well DP doesn't have a families section and Bush did just release his book. The Hannity Interview was done on Thursday. So I'd say these things are pretty recent. The book and interview are not partisan. So if you have a better suggestion as to where this topic should go please enlighten us.

I'll tell you where about three quarters of the posts in this thread can go, that's for sure.

He was raised on Marxist theory by the women in his life and his grandparents. I see daily the problems that people raised without a fatherly presence end up having. Im not saying that his his fault, but like many inner city youth there are problems with empathy, boundaries, etc.

People say Obama is coming across as a spoiled child, perhaps this is why. I think even from a young age, Obama was calculating and his relationship with Michelle probably reflects that.

Go sell your garbage to someone who gives a **** about your opinion.
You really do get overly emotional when there is any criticism of Dear Leader. There will be a lot of Obama withdrawal in the emergency rooms after 2016. Good thing Obamacare is in place.

Once again, Grant feels the need to lie about everything in order to make himself feel better.

I get "emotional" when dealing with hackish posters that I strongly dislike.

That's a good point. Children in single-parent families more likely to suffer emotional problems, report finds - Telegraph

well this is not the thread to do that on. So please take it elsewhere. That's for the basement section on this site. You don't need to post here if you don't like it and you've added nothing of value to this conversation whatsoever.

In either case you should learn to get it under control.

Your opinion is duly noted and summarily ignored.

I offered clarification to your post from the Daily ****ing Mail, and my stalkers couldn't resist jumping in and taking a big steamer all over your thread. Get pissy with them, not me.

In either case you should learn to get it under control.

Get your rabid hackery under control and we won't have a problem.

Yup we can talk about Obama, Bush and Clinton all in one breath without getting emotional because this isn't a partisan thread. This is talking about their families.
