You need to learn what "I don't care for" means too, apparently.
I think the point is, how can you support any politician that is so authoritarian that they are against legal recognition of same sex marriage. Social Conservatism is by definition authoritarian. The few real libertarians I have known pretty much agreed with liberals on social and defense spending issues and conservatives on most fiscal issues. However, I have known a lot of typical Republicans that call themselves libertarian that agree with Republicans 85% of the time but call themselves libertarian because they personally could care less if gays can get married and are against the drug war. Just saying..
What does libertarianism mean if you can support a politician that believes its the governments role to impose their religious or cultural views on others?
