Apple CEO Tim Cook comes out: 'I'm proud to be gay'

I didn't realize gay marriage was a human right.

Oh wait, two gays being married impacts your life how?

Doesn't change my point about single issue voting. Shame on you.

Yes because those on the right are the only ones who care about and vote about important issues. :lamo

Yes, like immigration reform which Reid won't entertain unless it's amnesty.

It seems to me that many hyperfocus on that issue, but are difficult to be found when other more global issues such as the economy are being discussed. In fact many on the Left hate the Tea Party for trying to reduce the spending in Washington, that could actually benefit them; but have a march for gay marriage and they're all over it including in the forums. They get all angry when people on the Right don't provide their support for gay marriage, but don't want to support the causes the affects more then just themselves. That's partly why I stay out of those threads the vast majority of the time. They are one issue voters, just like the pro-choice crowd. Nothing else seems to matter.

Simply ridiculous. And you accuse them of whining? Jeepers….

I wonder if the complainers of gay bigotry in the US would rather live in Russia, where they would be flogged daily for their support of homosexuality. Next time you're busy hating, think about that.

Next time the left is busy hating? Rich spin there. The russians are acting like the right wing over here. Pat Robertson and other right wing religious nutjobs would be the ones most happy to live in russia. They'd you'd fit right in. Next time you're busy hating, think about that.

Because people act like it's the most important issue in the galaxy, it's not.

Yet many on the right fight against SSM like it is the most important issue. So if you have a problem with it, blame your fellow righties. If SSM were legalized, there wouldn't be any Ssame sex issues to distract from the REAL issues.

Spoken like someone who does not understand what it's like being a second-class citizen.
Oh please...I am the epitome of a second class citizen today in America. A white, straight, blue collar, middle aged working man...Doesn't get anymore 2nd class than that.

How does one get to a place where they think they are capable of speaking for everyone? I can assure you, there are plenty of folks right here on this forum that do. This place is teeming with homophobes.

Oh you mean like those on the religious right?

Spend one day in the shoes of a gay man or woman applying for a job at a right wing business and then get back to me.
Teaming eh? By who's definition? Yours?

Playing the victim card, are we?

Oh yeah, you have it sooooooo rough

You have no clue, j-mac. You have no clue. If you think you have it rough, then thankfully you are not a black homosexual living in Georgia.

I know someone like that, tough lady, but she has to be.

True story. I went to England just recently and my buddy I there with has a Samsung. He could never get his GPS to work, so I pull out my iPhone, opened the maps aps and Siri came through like a champ. Everyone I know that started with some other smart phone has ended up with an iPhone.

I've bounced around a lot but just picked up the new Galaxy s5.

My previous phone with the iPhone 5 and I was actually at Verizon for the 6 but it was sold out. I'm pretty happy with my Galaxy. There are some things Apple did better but overall I prefer Android. I felt the same way when I left my HTC Thunderbolt for my iPhone a few years ago.

You are completely missing the point, American. It's all about being treated in the same manner as others under a government. Shame on you for not knowing that.

I do not doubt that one bit.

You know, there used to be a poingant show hosted by Morgan Spurlock (I forgot the name), who'd make someone live a different life for a few weeks. You know, to actually experience the life of people that they had highly judged. It pretty much managed to change opinions drastically, even converting a few KKK members. What is that old saying?..."walk a mile in a man's shoes before you judge them." So ****ing true.

They had a show like that in England where rich people had to live as normal people and so many of them had no idea what it was like without people to take care of them
