La Raza Promotes WaPo Guide To Voting Without an ID | The Daily Caller

The pro-amnesty Hispanic activist organization the National Council of La Raza helpfully promoted a Washington Post article explaining which states people can vote in without having to use a photo ID.

“Voter ID laws are at-issue across the country, with newly Republican-controlled legislatures having passed them in numerous states after the 2010 election,” explained The Washington Post’s Aaron Blake. “Most states still request some form of ID, but don’t require it. Another 20 states don’t require identification. In case you’re wondering where your state is at in all of this, a helpful (sic) graphic from the Post’s graphics team.”

What a tremendous service for no one who is an actual citizen of the U.S.

Wait, does this mean anybody can drive around and vote in multiple locations? Perhaps a bus full?

Re: La Raza Promotes Washington Post Guide On Where People Can Vote Without An ID

All this confirms is what we already know. We need a national ID to vote law, end the debate. Until then we will see more tips from many on avoidance at best and vote manipulation at worst. With all the things you need an ID for, including dealing with the government in other ways, it is absurd to suggest obtaining an ID somehow discriminates and excludes.

I absolutely agree.

My thoughts are there should be an across the board federal election standard that all states must abide by, including photo ID.

I don't see anything wrong with that.

BUT

When you look at the way some of these voter ID laws were implemented, it was not about election fraud that is for sure.

That's why a federal standard implemented by an independent election committee is so important.

Actually our SS cards should be chip encrypted photo ID cards, which would solve a lot of problems not just voting, and they should as they are now, be free to acquire and update through aging and name changes. The problem is that the IDs being required often require fees and copies of documents that can get quite costly, so it ends up being a problem for people who have SSNs (ie at some point and time their birth or citizenship has been documented and accepted) but can't afford to get that decades old, now expensive information or the fees for the photo ID.

So what if they promoted the post.

Or put another way... so what if they are encouraging voter fraud.

You do understand that one has to have a ID to register to vote...and one has to be registered to vote... before one can vote... with or without voter photo ID...right?

If your state does not require a photo voter ID to vote but requires a voter registration card...why is that a secret?

If you are not registered to vote by now...with a real or fake voter registration...its to late to commit voter fraud anyway.

For the love of God...tell me you don't believe what was posted on WaPo is a secret...

Posting a Washingon Post Article about which states you dont have to show an ID is not encouraging voter fraud. That is stating laws of certain states.

Sure it is. Absolutely.

Just like those big water bongs on the shelf behind the counter of the tobacco shop are for smoking tobacco out of.

I am sorry, but that has to be one of the most retarded statements ever made on this board. Educating people on what is required to vote in their state is not encouraging voter fraud., If it is, every single ****ing state in the US is guilty of encouraging voter fraud.

What was the purpose of LaRaza promoting it?

Re: La Raza Promotes Washington Post Guide On Where People Can Vote Without An ID

Those gosh durn Mexicans, actually informing themselves on the requirements to vote!

Just before a tight election, knowing the party likely to win is against illegal immigration and amnesty.

You support some crooked ****.

Re: La Raza Promotes Washington Post Guide On Where People Can Vote Without An ID

What was the purpose of LaRaza promoting it?

What do you call it when you provide information that people may not know? Education maybe?

Now let me ask a question. What is the point of Georgia, the state I live in, promoting information on exactly what is required to vote? georgia voter identification requirements2 Are they helping people learn how to circumvent the law, or are they helping ensure people have what they need when the time comes?

La Raza is like a Mexican version of the Black Panthers. Most Mexican Americans, shoot probably most Mexicans have zero to do with it.

Agreed.

Educating the citizens of Georgia on how to vote.

Are they helping people learn how to circumvent the law, or are they helping ensure people have what they need when the time comes?
Beyond ID requirements did they provide them with other pertinent information on how to vote? Or did that "info" just kind of start and end with where you can do it without ID?

Re: La Raza Promotes Washington Post Guide On Where People Can Vote Without An ID

In other words, you admit liberals are willing to lie, cheat, and steal for what they want. Thank you.

No one is lying, cheating or stealing here. Simply providing information so voters know what they need to vote.
