Islam convert shot dead after ax attack on NYPD cops

I am simply pointing out the irrational fears of the RW. It is that simple. Your logic has nothing to do wiht what I am saying.
Did anyone on the 'right wing' say there were afraid? Why not name some names here?

Well personally I dont like to see our service men die anywhere. Why did you pick Iraq. We have people die all over the world.
Yes, people are dying all over the world. Another shrewd leftist observation.

What excuse? I have never made a single excuse for anyone who murders someone. What bothers me is the completely out of proportion reactions from the right wing. Soo many murders in US every year, but the RW literally ****s on itself over 4 or 5 perpertrated by Muslims? Why is that?

How many common thugs who murder someone are supremacists with a religious belief that they must take over the world, force everyone to live under their seventh-century social system, and enslave or exterminate anyone who refuses to go along with their plan?

And what the hell do you mean by "the right wing?" Is that some kind of derogatory catchall term for everyone who doesn't share your views? If I chose to, I could pretty accurately call a lot of people in this country commies--starting with this sorry excuse for a President.

If the right wing is not afraid what is all the hysteria? Some whack a doodle nut job in NYC axes someone the RW is starting threads all over the internet about a terrorist attack, while there was probably a 100 other murders nationwide the same night. The only thing I can think of right off hand is muslimophobia. What other explanation is there?

You arent capable of finding groups who encourage crime in the United States? Or violent organizations in the United States? I think your google works.

You made the claim. It is your responsibility to back it up.

Because ISIS (among several Muslim groups) have encouraged lone wolf attacks on LE, military [and their families] etc in this country.

Three in North America this week.

That's like 3 times as many as have died from ebola. Maybe Obama needs a "Kill all the Muslims Czar."

What the hell difference does that make? If the RW is really concerned about Americans being killed, there is a lot more good they could do than stir up hate toward some religious group that in the big picture causes few deaths in the US.

I dont really care what you call the president. Or anyone else for that matter. Why would I care?

What hysteria?? Have you been licking too many stamps? There is no fear or hysteria! Try to get some control over your fantasies.

Three murderous attacks in a week by (we haven't had it come out yet, so we aren't sure) plausible adherents/inspirees of ISIL after ISIL tells them to launch precisely those kinds of attacks. That's fairly newsworthy.

Something noteworthy is the odd liberal willingness to pretend that we have no domestic problem from radical Islamist recruitment.

:doh sorry went crazy htere for a minute.

You don't know that this is international either? Too many leftists seem to believe they still live in Mr Roger's neighborhood.

To me it's something to keep tabs on and see what comes out of it, similar to the guy up in Canada.

Intelligence analysts for some time have been suggesting lone wolf actors who become attracted to the message of Islamists and seek to "do their part" locally, as an entirely independent lone wolf "cell" disconnected from the organization that essentially "motivated them", could end up being the more dangerous threat in regards to various forms of terrorism.

There's reasonable EARLY evidence with both of these gentleman to suggest that it's possible the motives surrounding their illegal activity is directly inspired by, and in a weird sort of way in support of, groups like ISIS. As the investigations go on it'll be very interesting to see if those links actually strengthen or remain simply fringe notions without a truly solid backing.

As to all the concern about the disproportionate outrage or concern or attention, I do truly hope that the same posters have in the past and will in the future put forth similar concern for those grossly over reacting to mass shootings....an issue accounting for a miniscule amount of homocides or even gun deaths (which is a questionable stat in and of itself as it typically includes suicides) in this country.

A hatchet-swinging psycho with Islamic militant leanings turned a busy Queens street corner into a scene of bloody chaos Thursday, chopping a rookie cop in the back of the head and slicing a second officer on the arm before two other officers shot him dead.
In opening fire on the madman, cops accidentally wounded a bystander, *authorities said.
Officer Kenneth Healey, 25, had just four months on the job when Zale Thompson, 32, of Queens — a “scholarly” but “weird” *recent convert to Islam — fractured the back of the cop’s skull with one swing of a blue-handled hatchet at about 2 p.m. in Jamaica.

Well, Jeez. Timothy McVeigh called himself a Christian. I guess that means that Christians are terrorists too.

Sheesh.

Do you just spew insults because you have nothing to add? Because it seems to be your MO.

Of course it's international. But since you "righists" seem to hate the "international community," maybe calling on us to rely on them is a bit dishonest.

It's too early to know if this is a trend but, ISIS seems to have many followers.

Funny how you had to go back nearly 20 years for that one, eh?

With suggestions like "Maybe Obama needs a "Kill all the Muslims Czar", or calling the murder of the Canadian soldier in Ottawa "an incident', you are simply taking up too much space.

Was he at work?

The victims were.

Im sure that's all thats needed to satisfy the Obama administration's definition of " work place violence".

Give them enough time and they'll warp back nearly a thousand years and bring up the Crusades.

Is it worth keeping tabs on? Absolutely. But then some of the posts I've seen on "Real Conservative" Facebook page say to round up Muslims and either deport them or kill them. Sorry, that's a little too far for my tastes.

No one has raised that argument here.
