Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say how

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

Looney projection and hypocritical behavior is always hilarious to most people. Keep it coming.

There you go, more of the same. Funny stuff!

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

Oh, no advice at all. She's following the new Democratic Party chant. "Speak out against sexism and inequality....just don't do anything about it". It's a sure winning strategy.

Right, you've made up Warren's position, then called her a hypocrite for not following advice she never gave. As I suspected.

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

That isn't actually what happened.

Gillibrand has been claiming that she has been mistreated by male members of Congress. Warren was asked if she has experienced the same treatment (not women in general). She said she had, and when asked for details, she declined to give them.

Mr. Nick didn't say anything stupid at all in that post.

Not quite. Here's the exchange:

Question: Have you had any similar experiences, of being treated differently because you're a woman by your colleagues in the Senate?
Warren: Yes.
Q: Can you elaborate?
W: Nope?
Q: I'm not asking you to name names...
W: I've said all I'm going to say.
Q: Surprising to you?
W: I wish it was, but it's hard to change these big, male dominated institutions. What I am very happy about is there are now enough women in the U.S. Senate to begin to change that place, and I just think that's powerfully important.
Q: But if a US Senator is treated differently than her colleagues?
W:...if you don't have a seat at the table, you're probably on the menu... So it's important that we have women in the United States Senate, strong women, and women who are there to help advance an agenda important to women...

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

Right, you've made up Warren's position, then called her a hypocrite for not following advice she never gave. As I suspected.

So she isn't all about equality between the sexes? Interesting. That isn't what she told her constituents.

You're calling her a hypocrite for giving advice to women about how to deal with sexism in the workplace, and then not following that advice. The question is simple - what advice did Warren give?

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

"Similar experiences". Similar to Gillibrand.

Quote the entire question. "of being treated differently because you're a woman by your colleagues in the Senate?"

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

Right, you've made up Warren's position, then called her a hypocrite for not following advice she never gave. As I suspected.

You're right, I made up her position. She thinks that sexism in Congress is a great thing. My bad.

You're right, she doesn't want equality in the workplace.

You're right, I made up her position. She thinks that sexism in Congress is a great thing. My bad.

OK, let's take this quote of yours:

I see it this way. The next time Senator Warren encourages women to stand up against sexism, even at the risk of alienating their employers and co-workers, her own behavior needs to be remembered.

I'd like to see her quoted saying that.

I've also quoted advice ACTUALLY given by women fighting sexism that says one good strategy is to confront the sexist, when the sexist behavior occurs. You're telling us the only way to fight sexism is to publicly shame sexists, and I'd like to see where Warren advised THAT, since she's a hypocrite and all for not publicly shaming sexist Senators.

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

Is your name "radcen?"

It's a political forum. Maybe you thought you sent a PM?

I agree with you. Senator Warren doesn't have a problem with sexism in Congress. She also doesn't have a problem with sexism in the workplace and never encourages women to fight against it.

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

You're right, she doesn't want equality in the workplace.

That's quite a leap. If she doesn't run to the press outing (presumably) every sexist and/or sexist act she's experienced in Congress, or at least many of them, with names, dates, times and places, a strategy that only YOU believe is the only acceptable way for Warren to fight sexism in the Senate, she's not for equality in the workforce? You'll have to connect the dots for me.

This should be easy - using Warren's own words, prove the hypocrisy charge.

This is getting boring. I agree with you. She has no issue with sexism in the workplace - hers, or anyone else's workplace. You're right.

Re: Elizabeth Warren says she's been treated differently in the Senate but won't say

You're right, she doesn't want equality in the workplace.

She's a true leader attacker, another worthy presidential prospect. Don't you know that we no longer want leaders, trailblazers, people that built something? People that know how to get things done. No, POTUS now needs to be someone that wants to take that away, "you didn't build that" people are now prefered. Look how well it's working right now.

You're hilarious. You're acting like a politician here - someone asks a question, you answer a different one. Anything to avoid the simple task of quoting Warren and using Warren's words to back up your "HYPOCRITE!!" charges.

Just admit it - you got nothing. You made up Warren's position, and then called her a hypocrite for not following advice Warren never gave women.

LMFAO. You say she's a hypocrite for giving advice she's not following. What's hard about quoting her giving some advice she's not following? Should be easy, so why the dancing around? Surely you didn't invent a straw man and proceeded to beat the crap out of your own invention?????

She has no problem with sexism in the workplace, just as you've been saying. My bad.

You're right, I made it up. Warren does not care about sexism in the workplace, or anywhere else for that matter. Boys will be boys.....and that's fine with Warren.

Why do you keep trying to argue about it when I agreed with you that she doesn't care about sexism and never encouraged females to fight for equality?

Hey, she said the Republicans have waged war against women. That's good enough for me! She'll make a fine President....what other great messages will she share with us, I wonder...

But you called her a hypocrite for telling women to stand up to sexism... Here's some of YOUR quotes:

Senator Warren encourages women to fight sexism. She just doesn't want to do it herself. I guess leading by example isn't in her.

I'll remember this the next time she's stumping and tells other women to stand up to sexism. She isn't. She's a piss poor leader and a hypocrite expecting other people to do it, but not doing it herself.

Clearly, you've heard her talking about sexism, and I'm just asking for quotes. How is she being hypocritical?

I know you've embraced the ONE-choice strategy no feminist anywhere would endorse - women may ONLY fight sexism in the workplace by public shaming of sexists - but I'm just wondering if Warren ever supported that one-option strategy. I doubt it, but you know something I don't, unless you made up Warren's position.....

Once again, since you can't seem to comprehend....

You're right. Senator Warren doesn't want anyone to fight against sexism in the workplace. She doesn't even want to fight against it herself. She has no problem with sexism in the workplace. She's never told women to stand up against it. She herself doesn't even want to stand up against it. Leave sexism in the workplace as is.

You & I are saying the same thing. Now please stop nipping at my heels. Senator Warren doesn't care about sexism in the workplace. You've been saying it, and I agree with you.

But you said over and over she DID tell women those things, and called her a hypocrite and "piss poor leader" for not following her own advice. Now, you're saying she said none of that?

It would seem like you're just making up whatever you need to make up so you can criticize Warren....

You & I are saying the same thing. Now please stop nipping at my heels. Senator Warren doesn't care about sexism in the workplace. You've been saying it, and I agree with you.

Actually, what I've said is there is more than one way to fight sexism in the workplace, publicly outing Senators would be a STUPID way to do that, etc.

But forgetting that, you 'agree' with me TODAY only after being asked to provide some quotes for a completely different position you attributed to Warren just YESTERDAY.

I'm having a hard time following you, other than I've gotten some strong hints that you don't much care for Warren and she's damned in your eyes no matter what she says or does....

Since you're having a hard time following me, I'll repeat what I said the last half dozen or so posts i made that you didn't seem to understand. Then I'm afraid I can't indulge you with any more of the exact same responses because I can't help it if you can't understand it.

Elizabeth Warren has no problems with sexism in her workplace. She has no problems with sexism in Congress. She doesn't want women to fight against sexism in their own workplaces. She wants it to just stay as is, and wants women to look the other way.

Now, I've told you the reality of Senator Warren. Your posts made me realize that she has no interest in correcting sexism in the workplace or anywhere else. The truth is out now, and I'm sure her feminist supporters will be happy we exposed the truth about Senator Warren. At least we can all agree that she doesn't care about correcting sexism.

Have a good one and I hope that helps.

It confirms what I already knew - you'll take whatever position you need at that moment to criticize a woman you don't like.

So when challenged to support the many accusations you made against her through yesterday, you did a 180. Now she's not a hypocrite, as you asserted time after time, she just doesn't care. And the evidence she doesn't care is she's not following the advice you, and only you, determined is the ONLY acceptable way to fight sexism in the Senate, which is to publicly shame them.
