SECOND Dallas Hospital Worker Tests Positive for Ebola

Of course not...To people like you nothing can be because of what this administration does, or doesn't do, just blame everyone, and everything else. I'm sure somewhere in there you think it is those poor paralyzed kids fault for contracting the disease in the first place...

Nope I actually admit there were mistakes made by this admin. But your article is conjecture on a politically based website. As a someone with a science degree though it wouldn't pass the sniff test for me.

But you don't know for sure and we sure can't read his mind now.

The poor man died a grisly death. Cut him some slack. We can't go back and change things and demonizing him won't change anything.

One thing we do know, is that if a travel ban had been in place, we wouldn't have people in America infected with ebola.

Another potentially positive development:

From Reuters:

Britain's biggest drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline said on Saturday work to develop a vaccine to combat Ebola, which has killed thousands in West Africa, was moving at a rapid pace...

The company said preliminary data from the trials was expected by the end of 2014 and that, if successful, the next phase, involving the vaccination of frontline healthcare workers in Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia, would begin in early 2015.

GSK says Ebola vaccine development progressing at 'unprecedented rate' | Reuters

Hopefully, the ongoing vaccine trials will prove successful.

It'll take the FDA five years to approve it.

As I recall, he wasn't sick when he showed up.

And your point is?

All that tells us is he didn't expose the people on his flight.
It also tells us that "airport screenings" are useless if someone with Ebola isn't yet symptomatic (and thus contagious) when they arrive in America.

This guy deserves ZERO slack. He brought a ****ing monster to the United States.

What I was replying to as this idiot notion that its the liberals fault.

Not only that, he knowingly brought Ebola into the US, didn't me? That's malicious, isn't it?

Oh oh. This can't be a good development.

Based on additional information obtained during interviews of close contacts to the second healthcare worker from Texas Presbyterian Hospital who tested positive for Ebola, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is expanding its outreach to airline passengers now to include those who flew from Dallas Fort Worth to Cleveland on Frontier flight 1142 on Oct. 10.

CDC is now asking passengers on Frontier Airlines flight 1142 Dallas/Fort Worth to Cleveland on Oct. 10 and passengers on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 from Cleveland to Dallas/Fort Worth on Oct. 13 to call 1 800-CDC INFO (1 800 232-4636). Public health professionals will interview passengers about the flight, answer their questions, and arrange follow up if warranted. Individuals who are determined to be at any potential risk will be actively monitored.

So how many more people does this include now in potential viral vectors? And how many people have those people been in contact with? The pyramid of potential infected is growing at an exponential rate here, probably even fast than exponential.

Still not panicking. Just becoming even more concerned as I watch the circle and count of people under potential infection threat grow ever larger.

And Texas dropped the ball in every conceivable way--surprised ?

Must be President Ebola's fault, as per the lying from GOP politicians and candidates .

Some may be saying that. I'm not really one of them. However, a visa ban from the hot zones seems only common sense to institute. Why even take the chance? That's how it got here in the first place.

Must be President Ebola's fault,
This is completely true. President Ebola could not take some time off from golf, fund raising and partying to close the border from potential Ebola carriers. He still hasn't. Why not?

The most obvious though un-PC answer is because he doesn't give a ****.

No matter how mant times you repeat that it won't make it true.
