SECOND Dallas Hospital Worker Tests Positive for Ebola

Your perspective will make sense when Ebola in Texas reaches the stage where it is likely that people coming from Texas have been exposed to Ebola.

Shill-for-Ebama, Get back to us when we reach that point.

Uh, no: I don't care for Obama. We're supposed to be on toip of things right? I mean - at least in Texas. So two is two many. Two begat four, four begat eight... That's where we need to build the wall.

You watch.

D68 was rare here and its arrival coincides with the arrival of these kids from latin America (where the disease is known to be indemic).

Make no mistake-if this administration has to choose between keeping Americans safe and votes-it will pick votes every time-as it has done.

I think the whole border surge was preplanned by the Obola administration anyway; back in January the Department of Homeland Security sent memos out stating that we needed to be prepared for a large surge at the border, yet we only heard about the surge a few months back.

I never said anything about being fair - I spoke of consistency in demand... Seems Ebola has hit the heart of conservatism in America, so how about some consistency. Suspending travel in and out of Texas would be consistent with conservatice demands.

You dont appear to know the definitions of words. Its NOT consistency in demand-a few Americans in American vs tens of thousands of Africans in africa.
Your point is not really a point at all.

Of course it was, it didn't happen by accident. Its a way to import future dem voters, and to placate the "latino" vote as well.

Disease, cost, and damage to the US be damned. It was always about politics.

Conservative response to Ebola: let's be proactive and protect healthy Americans who want to stay that way.

Liberal response to Ebola: What me worry?

My point is actually a great one: you got caught in the conservative BS and now you're trying to dance around it to keep from admitting it.

I have no idea where you might get that notion.

The two have been sent to other hospitals. They are no longer in Texas. They were finally isolated and will be treated until they recover or die.

Another hundred or so were exposed. We are fortunate that it is hard to "catch" or we would already be doomed to massive losses.

Thank the president. He is the one who allowed Duncan to arrive. While you are at it thank the Democrats for Enterovirus that has killed one child an paralyzed others. We must keep our borders open to diminish white people, bankrupt the nation and change the electorate to one more amenable to Marxist, one party rule.

The #1 rule in life when facing any situation is:

1. DO NOT PANIC

So it's funny watching so many people delightfully choose to panic. Especially about something that is not a big deal at all.

Yes, I'll be the one to say it.

EBOLA IS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL.

It's safe to come out of your containment bunkers and rejoin life and the rest of us sane folk.

Who's panicking? The most alarming thing here is not Ebola, its our govt's incompetence. That does not exactly inspire confidence, nor should it.

That does not mean that others have NOT been infected. Texas must be quarantined.

OHhhhhhh... I see. You are contending that it's a thread about panicking about government. typical conservative claptrap. Just curious... were these nurses who work at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital government employees?

Democracy is self governance. So I gotta laugh at those who hate government being that it's like hating one's self.

No, like I said who's panicking? The govt has been empirically incompetent, and an EXAMPLE is though they set the guidelines for "zebra" (rare) disease like ebola (which is new to the USA) they NOT ONCE contacted nor directed the hospital.

The way it works, is unusual disease is managed by guidelines GIVEN by the CDC-and the reason is that research and data is limited because we dont see these diseases.

Yes... and the nurses failed to follow the guidelines.

The CDC is also investigating the “breach of protocol” that Frieden says must have taken place for the infection to spread through the nurses’ protective gear. Both nurses are being moved from Texas Health Presbyterian—one to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia and the other to an NIH isolation unit in Bethesda, Maryland. The two hospitals are among four in the country that have special biocontainment units for infectious diseases.

linkypooo...

Stop panicking.

We are not the government.

I despise this government. You and I are pawns.

We are not the government.

Yes.. we are.

Pawns of our own creation. We get the government we deserve. Don't like it? Change it. At least you have the power to in our self governing country unlike many others.

The CDC has already back away from the "breach of protocol" argument-because they can't find it. They were trying to throw nurses under the bus and failed.

yeah... because you say so I guess.

Jesus man.... AGAIN! READ YOUR OWN LINKS BEYOND THE TITLE!

“We have to rethink how we address infection control, because even a single infection is unacceptable,” he said.

They have to adjust to make something that was fool proof... to totally dumbass-idiot proof for people who don't follow the protocol.
