Khamenei blames United States, 'wicked' Britain, for creating Islamic State

Syrian Ambassador Calls ISIS An ‘American Myth’
10/16/2014
The Syrian Ambassador to India claimed that ISIS was an American invention on Wednesday, among other controversial remarks. “ISIS is an American myth, which gets direct support from Tayyip Erdogan’s [the president] Turkey and is funded by Saudi Arabia and Qatar,” according to Ambassador Riad Kamel Abbas. “Al Qaeda appeared in Syria after the US invaded Iraq. Before that there was no al Qaeda in Syria. It is clear that al Qaeda was created by the US and it is supporting ISIS.” Syrian Ambassador Calls ISIS An
If ISIS is an American myth, how can the US be supporting ISIS? These are 7th century minds with 21st century technology.

Iran has plenty of conflict of interest here, but it doesn't change the fact that the statement is true. Al Qaeda and ISIS are America's fault. The government that Iran has is also America's fault, which makes the statement all the more ironic.

Yes, America is at fault for every bad thing that happens on the planet. Yawn!

K

US messes the world by provokating opposite groups. The ISIS, as well as Al Qaeda, are the assets of the Feds. With these conflicts as justification, US interfere the Mid-East affair and control the oil resource.

The global puzzle is much larger than the limited scope addressed in your statement.

This is not checkers. It's 3D chess.

Unfortunately, we currently have a President that can't play either.

It'll be great when one of these countries take responsibility for the state of their region. It's always someone elses fault.

Yet another "Lalala I can't hear you" moment from yet another person who can't face reality.

No one's saying it's all America's fault. No one's saying it's none of America's fault. Those seem to be the stances that most Americans defer to when faced with information that their government is doing some really heinous stuff in the world.

Open your eyes and practice discernment. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.

You have to be kidding. I'm a serious critic of my federal government and what it does. But taking a comment from a terrorist enemy is hardly worth listening to.

Iraq War Vet: US Camps Became 'Terrorist Universities' for ISIS

Thursday, 16 Oct 2014
U.S. military detainment camps in Iraq became universities for terror when hardcore radical Muslims who were jailed with moderate, nonviolent Iraqis used the opportunity to intimidate and browbeat them into becoming fanatical terrorists, according to a U.S. Iraq War veteran.

Today, many of those who once were in U.S. custody are back on the frontlines, fighting for the Islamic State (ISIS) to establish a radical Muslim caliphate in the Middle East.

The charges come from Andrew Thompson, who spent time in Iraq as a compound intelligence officer at Camp Cropper in 2009 where, he told CNN News, the radical prisoners actually ran the prison, forcing the often illiterate, moderate, and less threatening prisoners to obey their orders, while U.S. authorities did nothing to stop them.

That the Iranian regime blames the US is not breaking news.

The next thing you know republicans will start blaming Obama for the weather. Oh wait.

I'd like to see the full translated speech instead of snippets by Yahoo. Can you link me?

Khamenei is basically right. ISIS and Al Qaeda are U.S. creations, either directly or by proxy. Our foreign policy and tendency to play geopolitics with our globalized conglomerates is why we're in this mess.
There is a kernel of truth in there in the sense that actions of the west have opened up opportunities for these more extremest groups that might have otherwise been suppressed.

The next thing you know republicans will start blaming Obama for the weather. Oh wait.

Chavez flew in special scientific advanced planes and zapped clouds with laser beams for the people of Venezuela. Surely Obama can top that.

We definatley help lay the groundwork for the group to exist in the last 10 years.

Why does it matter who is saying it, if the information is true?

You'd ignore a fact just because your enemy says it?

My god, what kind world are we living in where people are this willingly blind.

Yes, America is at fault for every bad thing that happens on the planet. Yawn!

And the Russians and Chinese are quiet innocent. Nothing underhanded ever happens behind the scenes there.

What don't you blame the Republicans for?

You'd ignore a fact just because your enemy says it?

No, I would ignore a comment because an enemy says it. What you consider to be a fact doesn't necessarily play with me. Sorry.

Intelligence, foresight, vision, compassion, common sense, good looks and a sense of humor.

That fact that you're looking for that in any politician demonstrates you need help.

What I need more than help is a drink. Now get to work.

Talk about irony! You're taking the word of a theocratic dictator that people other than theocratic dictators are to blame for theocratic dictatorship. :lamo

Your position, and your adoring support of tyranny, smacks of fundie muzzie.

And I can tell you what kind of world it is when people are so blind and unwilling to believe theocratic dictators...

THE END OF TIMES :scared:

12th Imam is comin', dude!

Then disprove the fact, don't attack the messenger.
