Soros to Host Fundraiser for ‘Independent’ Kansas Senate Candidate

That may be I do not know, but he still is a Jew.

One of Hitler's top admirals was a Jew. There were Jews that served with the SS. The sonderkommandos were Jews.

If facts are important as you say then why did you try to pass Soros off as a Jew?

Because Geroge Soros was born a Hungarian Jew.

WTF? How did this thread get so terribly OT from the OP?

Back to the OP. It should read "Soros' Son Hosts Fundraiser To Buy Orman's Loyalty To Democrats And Their Progressive Agenda".

The stupidity of the comments concerning Soros had to be stopped. As for Orman, he's running as an independent; you should be thrilled.

Conservatives hold fundraisers all the time, so I don;t see your point anyway.

I didn't make any stupid comments about Soros.

Why would I be thrilled about Orman running as an Independent?

Who said anything to the effect that conservatives don't hold fundraisers?

Whatever that may be, then again neither is Italism, or Frenchism, or Greekism.
What exactly is "Frenchism"? "Italism"? Or "Greekism"? These are nations, Judism is a religion.

Orman is decieving the voters.

Orman is decieving the voters.

Any voter who thinks Orman is a true independent should know better. Orman's true stripes were revealed the day Democrat Taylor withdrew and threw his support along with that of the Kansas Democratic Party to Orman. If Orman was a true independent he would be accepting Democratic money. Orman is an independent in name only much like Sanders from Vermont and King from Maine.

That he is, he is in the mold of Sanders and King.

That he is, he is in the mold of Sanders and King.

His historical political contributions have been studied, with all of the data from Opensecrets.org. Orman has donated to Democrats a whopping 93% of the time - including donations to Al Franken. I struggle to call anyone who donated to Franken anything but a very left leaning Liberal.

The comparison to Sanders and King is a good one. Orman is about as Independent as Charlie Crist was the day he lost the Senate primary to Marco Rubio and changed his affiliation to "Independent" (which of course was right before he declared himself a "Democrat").

Do these guys think we're stupid?

So here we have one of the most blatant of Liberal/Progressive political deception, and outright lie in today's political climate. Greg Orman has all kinds of ads on Kansas TV, promising, that he is not a democrat, even though up until this election cycle he WAS exactly that.

Now, enter Soros. He needs to get his money into his stooge running against Roberts so at the very least he can fracture the vote, to give the liberal a chance. So, does Soros come right out and make it clear that he is backing this faux independent? No.

Soros thinks so little of the American voter, and thinks they are so stupid that he sends his son to do the fundraising, so that if any question comes up he at least has the narrowest of denials of involvement....

Crap like this, coupled with demo's long time election fraud of using absentee ballots to tip elections, and the outright corruption we see today from liberals in the process, my question is will the American electorate wake up? I don't know.

Soros can hold fund raisers for whom ever he wants. But if Orman accepts the funds that puts his claim as being an independent to rest. He then become beholden to Soros and the Democratic Party. Accepting that money would in my opinion make him a defacto Democrat and independent in name only. Before Democratic Senate candidate Taylor withdrew Orman was saying the right things and campaigning like a true independent. Once Taylor withdrew, the Democratic apparatus threw all their support to him. A good political move on the Democrats part to be sure, but the odds he would caucus with the Democrats and become one of them like Sanders from Vermont and King from Maine rose from roughly 50-50 to 80%.

With Soros raising money for Orman, again a good political move on his part, now the odds Orman caucusing with the Democrats has rose to 95%. In other words Orman is an independent in name only. He is way too beholden to the Democratic Party and their money that if he wins, Orman has no other choice than to caucus with them exactly like Sanders and King.

There is no free money in politics. Money from whomever or from what ever corporation, lobbyist, special interests, wall street firms is given or comes with strings attached. Whomever receives and accepts their money, owes them.

Regarding the bolded part...I often find it very ironic that people make accusations that unpopular groups - religious organizations, the NRA, big business, etc. - are buying politicians' favor and loyalty with their donations, but those same people don't always find it equally appalling that people like Soros here are doing the exact same thing. This is all nothing new - and it happens on both sides, not just the GOP side.

If Orman is an independent, I'm waking up tomorrow in bed with Brad Pitt.

The vast majority of voters, especially those who do not wear the red or blue colored glasses do not pay much attention to politics in general. In other words a lot, quite a lot of independents are taken in or make up their mind on the rhetoric of the candidates or even a bumper sticker slogan.

Those on this site I would classify as political junkies. Most independents are not and usually do not pay any attention to elections until a couple of weeks prior. I heard Orman say that he wouldn't vote for either McConnell or Reid to be the leader in the senate. I loved that. My hopes for a true independent in the senate rose. But not now.

Let's face it, the fact is the vast majority of Americans do not follow the candidates closely. I wouldn't call them stupid, it is just there are other things in their life they place a much higher priority on than getting into the nuts and bolts of a political campaign.

LOL, okay with your bed partner. I use to dream about Raquel Welsh when I was much younger. What the Democrats do not talk about is Obama received three times as much money from Wall Street in 2008 than McCain did. That year Obama spent 750 million to 368 for McCain.

In 2012 the money was relative even. What is unknown to most is corporations and Wall Street tend to donate to whom they think will win, then they will give some money to the other candidate just in case he wins, that way both candidates owe them. Some of the firms who donate to both parties, candidates are Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Citigroup, UBS AG, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and more.

Now these folks would donate all their millions if their investment didn't give them a good return. Think about it. They good business men.

They are smarter than anyone else in the world when it comes to wise investments.

My husband says Raquel is still hot.

I agree with your husband. Oh yes, those folks wouldn't make those investments if they didn't get a real good return on their money. Let's face it, we have the best government money can buy.

I don't remember saying that you made any comments about Soros. I said, that the stupid comments made had to be stopped.

You said that Orman was running as a Democrat: he's not.

I said that conservatives hold fund raisers becasue you were trashing Soro's kid for holding afund raiser.

If I can be of any further help just let me know.
