U.S. Nurses say they are unprepared to handle Ebola patients.....

An easy and effective way to identify the racists among us is to watch for the injection of race into every discussion. The racists cannot help themselves.

Thanks for not addressing my question or the issue.........very predictable though

That is total bull****. Perry and his state having nothing to do with it. This is a serious issue and you clowns are turning it into a ****ing political issue. THAT is the bull**** of this entire issue. It's a deadly virus, and all you guys can do is point fingers and talk about how inferior Texas and Perry are.
I have been a registered nurse in Texas for 30 years. We have the same standards as everyone else, and for you guys to act so stupid is a ****ing embarrassment to what is a serious issue. Growing up might be in order.

Yes mam!

I am with you completely. Let's end the gravy train for all of the welfare moochers no matter which state they are in.

To restore the Constitution to its rightful place let's have an Article V convention of states and propose some nation-saving amendments.

You people would starve to death.

Well, Team BO wants them to screen people that are coming from the infected states. So they should be taking notice. Also he was sent home exhibiting those symptons.

So do you think it a real good probable chance he was exhibiting when he arrived in DC?

Greetings, MMC. :2wave:

I'm assuming he wasn't the only passenger on the plane, so how did they isolate him from the other passengers? Somebody in Africa said he was showing symptoms, or he would not have been sent back here for treatment!

I believe you see a reflection of what is in your character. Racists always see race in every issue.

We want all of the ebola patients to be placed in Washington DC because they are the ones who refuse to prevent further infections.

You are not that much of an enigma.

Give me a break. I can see right through you. You bitch about welfare recipients and you assume most of the people on it are black. You guys are all the same. Like I said I once lived in the deep south. Trouble is more whites in this country are in welfare than blacks. I know white folks in Kentucky that are pros on gaming the system. And don't call me a racist I have black folks at my family reunion.

"I suppose the military-hating Marxist on the golf course had to send four thousand troops to ebola country instead of preventing people from ebola country from entering the US.

Who signed up to protect the nation so the marxist could send them, to a foreign country, not to defend the nation but to get sick and possibly to die unnecessarily?"

Help will only come when his reign of terror has ended. If you are not afraid it is because you are a fellow traveler who believes will not be affected or you are incredibly stupid.

Perhaps you have never known freedom.

Reign of terror? WTF?

Which you are reeatedly doing. LMAO

"Why is it that those who hate America and Americans are never willing to make hard choices? The moochers have taken way too much. It is time to end the free rides and spend federal dollars on things that are actually constitutional.

How much money, in your opinion, would it require to stop allowing people to come into the US after spending time in ebola country?"

You are not very good at this are you?

How much money, in your opinion, would it require to stop allowing people to come into the US after spending time in ebola country?

Ebola country? How about Marlborough Country? LOL

"it cannot be stopped..." What a foolish statement. It will not be stopped because we have idiots and children in charge.

How many times are you going to repeat the same question to different posts?

I signed up to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I did not sign up to go babysit sick people in ebola country. I signed up to defend my nation not to be exposed to a fatal disease in countries that are unimportant to US national security.

Perhaps you signed up to be exposed, needlessly, to ebola.

You signed up for whatever you are ordered to do. You have no say in the matter.

Are you really in the military because you're a piss poor soldier if you whine about what you're ordered to do and you disrespect the commander in chief. I sure wouldn't want you watching my back soldier. Hell I wouldn't want you in my unit.

No. It takes 20 some days to exhibit symtoms. For all we know he was bright and chipper at Dulles.

He was sent home in Texas not Dulles airport.

I don't believe that was the case. Can you provide a link?

And it's come back each time. What's your point?

Ebola made its way to the US under your boy's watch, no getting around that. Reagan would have haulted all air travel from west Africa months ago if he were in charge.

A link to what? Mine was a question on how he was handled, whichever airport he was sent to.

And you think that would stop the virus from getting here, in today's world, where a tourist from China can be in Africa today and LA next week?

Yep that's exactly what the idiotic and mentally challenged Reagan would have done: the Stupid Ineffective Thing.

My boy? He's no boy and he's the CIC.

When you said this:

You implied they already knew he had Ebola on the plane which was obviously not the case as he wouldn't have been allowed on the plane.

My link request is your information that someone said he was showing symptoms and sent here for treatment. Do you seriously think they would have put him on a plane with the other passengers? Did you see what they did with the doctor and missionary they flew to the U.S. for treatment?

That's why we restrict travel between Africa and The United States.

Won't work, as all the experts say. Infectious viruses simply have too many indirect pathways into the country in the modern globalized world. We'd have to build a wall around the US and let nobody in or out to avoid that. But thankfully we don't have to. We just have to rationally deal with incidences of infection as they arise.

I'm not saying we shouldn't have heightened scrutiny at Customs. I'm just saying we have to assume incidences will arise. And the facts show that's that case. It's already happened, and will surely happen again.

It happened, because a guy caught a flight from Liberia, to The United States. Obviously, it won't be 100%. The thing that is 100%, guaranteed, is doing nothing.

Anti-science, xenophobia, scapegoating: conservatives go into that mode so easily.

This time, however, the stakes are rather high and I expect science, reason and good policies win out, perhaps ultimately leading to the restoration of the funding the GOP stole form the CDC (plus the closing of two CDC research labs), and a reinvigoration of the argument for universal single payer health care.

And maybe at long last we'll raise taxes on millionaires to pay for this.

Crime and corruption and terror are a main staple of life in the world's worst areas, like Lliberia and Sierra Leone. Both are at the bottom of the UN human devolpment index at 13th and 5th worst respectively.
Table 1: Human Development Index and its components | Human Development Reports

Obama was a fool for sending thousands of our troops there to build infratructure that the lazy and corrupt leaders shold have been doing for the last 50 years themselves. Those 3 to 4 thousand troops could be used to help protect and seal off our Southern border.

It is the role of the State Deparment to ban travel from infected areas, not the CDC. Let the UN health experts, or better yet, the health experts from the African Union fix the Ebola problem in W. Africa.

I think MMC has a magic Ebola detector ring he got at Breitbart.com. It only cost $29.95

Well sort of.....but not really. Maybe you could talk to the NY Times about not doing contract work for Breitbart. Or for trying to trick you. Just sayin.
