Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial[W:292]

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

I hope the POS enjoys everyday in prison...fully.

But Im not in prison, Im a free man! :2razz:

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

Spare me the BS, about Chicago, Chicago had not a damn thing to do with this occurrence or trial..

Rednecks in Texas kill each other, just like blacks kill other blacks in Chicago...

Is it me or do a lot of righties always try to justify killing unarmed black kids by just saying Chicago?

No, it's not just you, some of us see that too.

....and the word THUG don't forget, ya gotta call the victim a THUG, then murder is OK and it's open season on un-armed black teens.

Every time some butthead posts "Chicago" in one of these threads, somebody should post this.......

I respectfully disagree with you. Racism is still very much alive and well. Some people try to hide it, but it sticks out like a sore thumb. Tell me how the conversation in this thread would have gone down had the shooter been black and firing into a car full of white people.

If the kid who was killed was white, there would have been no national press coverage like there has been.

Nobody would care.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

No,
Given the context, he is spot on...

opinion noted, not shared

Exactly.......it would have been a local story only. Compare the Duke Lacrosse case versus the Knoxville and Wichita massacres

Yes it is. It is shared by me.

I forgot your minions!

Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial
Michael Dunn found guilty of murder in loud-music trial - CNN.com

Sad day for him. He should have walked.

I think he would have walked if he called 911 immediately after the shooting, and if he also stayed at the scene. His lack of reporting what happened and leaving the scene is extremely suspicious. [The SUV could have been searched immediately for a shotgun that way too.]

Agreed. Somehow they think want to link every black kid to Chicago. Hell I never been to Chicago.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

I didn't sit on the jury so I have no clue if this was "premeditated" or not, but from what I can see, he certainly deserved punishment for killing someone who offended his lifestyle or noise tolerance or whatever. If I shot every idiot who played his music too loud and it annoyed me, I would have been in jail decades ago. We don't get to shoot people because they piss us off.

That kid is a true hero.
If he played his music too loud some here would call him a THUG and dismiss him as being expendable.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

Is that the new deal with shootings? They are all shot in the back, even when they were not.

The suv was driving away was it not? So in practice, they were shot in the back.

Dunn not only left, he went back to his hotel and ordered pizza. It wasnt until the next morning that his girlfriend saw the news and begged to go home. The man is clearly a murdering sociopath and yet the OP thinks he's a hero for gunning an unarmed kid down over some loud music.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

the judge could actually reject the jury verdict and issue an acquittal. I see the anti gun fanatics are going to try to argue guns should be banned because of this guy

That's true, but the judge does not decide guilt or innocence. As for guns, this is yet another instance in the case I keep making about not letting just anybody pack heat. You can yell all you want, but had that idiot Dunn not been allowed to carry, that kid would still be alive and Dunn would have a lot less to worry about.

just sayin'

uh if the judge issues a JNOV he or she has found that the jury's decision is against the manifest weight of the evidence and thus issues a verdict of acquittal.

you can speculate all you want but trying to blame CCW is moronic because for every case like this, I can find one where someone used a CW properly

so again, we have to ask what your frantic motives are

the only patent argument you make is that you want to ban CCW to prevent rare cases where a CCW holder violates the law with his legally concealed weapon

Laws in the US are not made or detracted based upon one death, period - It is an isolated incident.

Based upon your silly logic, no cops should be carrying after one bad shoot.

That's a fact. Get over it.

On CCW, and yet - again- I've made my case very clearly.

I had not heard that the suv was in motion. Who's testimony is that?

That comment is so dense that it really deserves no reply.
