Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial[W:292]

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

Yes your current comment is as ridiculous as your previous false statement was.

Meh, you should probably remove that sig line. It's very contradictory to your debate style.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

The courts have spoken. He's in prison for life. I actually feel sorry for him. He'll never have Thanksgiving dinner with his family. He'll never celebrate Christmas unwrapping presents. No more romantic weekends with his would be wife. Just locked away with hardened criminals watching his back for reprisal attacks and hoping he doesn't get caught alone. No more vacations. Of course, I feel awful mostly for the kid he killed, his parents and other loved ones. I agree with Angela Corey, Stand Your Ground needs to be repealed...but that's another thread.

Im all for Stand Your Ground, Im a full supporter of the 2nd Amendment but what Dunn did was cold blooded murder. OP's stormfronting aside, Im glad the jury saw the truth and the truth was Dunn killed the boy out of sheer maliciousness and he is going down for a long long time and he truly deserves it. Justice was done and I hope Dunn rots in his cell.

If he lives long enough to rot. Not sure what prison he will serve his time at, but the Duval County jail system has a huge black population, and, well -- he isn't well thought of by the black community.

I need to look it up but at least in Florida SYG has but used to justify, often unsuccessfully, the killing of a lot of people where their lives were not in danger. It emboldens some people to instigate hostilities then if things escalate they feel protected by the law to kill the person with whom they picked a fight.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

You need to check yourself and your false assertions about others.

And clearly you have no clue as to how Dunn will be living in Prison.
Unless there is some psychotic individual out to harm him, he will do just fine.

He won't live past two years in prison. Dunn is , well Dunn is Done.

You are speaking nonsense that you don't even have a clue about.

Your comment is foolish.

So thank you for demonstrating a lack of knowledge and understanding of what the quote says and means.

Well this is ironic.

:lamo:lamo

Oh I understand quite well what the quote says and means. It says and means the exact opposite of your debating style. You have a passion, which is clearly racially biased, and reason factors in nowhere in your debate style. You can't be spoken with, and you can't be reasoned with. At all.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

Well this is ironic.
:doh
No, your statement is absurd, not ironic.
And what he said was absurd and he didn't have a clue as to what he spoke.
If you disagree, prove what he said it true. It is that simpole.
Show his claim that "Dunn won't live past two years in prison" is true. Either that, or admit he really doesn't know what he is speaking of, and therefore, your follow-up comment was absurd.

But since your debate style lacks knowledge and reason, I seriously doubt you realize the reality of that, or just how far you have dug yourself in to an absurd hole.

It says and means the exact opposite of your debating style.
:doh
What an absurd comment. It doesn't mean any such thing, and again displaying a lack knowledge and understanding of what you speak.

And I seriously doubt you can extrapolate what my debate style in this thread has been.
But let me help you out. I have repeatedly corrected false emotive claims by others using the known evidence.
And even though you were one of those corrected, you of course do not seem able to recognize that because of your own biases.
And your continued comments just show the same thing.

You have a passion,
And?
The quote is about the Law, not about how one argues the evidence, or how the evidence does or doesn't apply to the law.
You just didn't know what the quote meant. Duh.

"The law is reason, free from passion."
Aristotle

The law in this case ~ Killing is wrong except in self defense. That is reason and lacks any element of passion.
It is as it is.
We are not arguing/disputing the law.
What we are doing is arguing the evidence and if it shows self defense or not.

You should really learn what the hell you are talking about before trying to assert that you do know.

You have a passion, which is clearly racially biased,
Wrong, and quite a dishonest juvenile claim.
Nothing I have argued has been based on race. That is a false claim and dishonesty by you.
You are seeing what you want to see. Not something that is actually there.
That is your failure and squarely puts the racial component on you. Not me.

and reason factors in nowhere in your debate style.
Wrong again.
This shouldn't have to be explained to you, but since you have demonstrated a lack of knowledge concerning what is or isn't reasonable, I am sure it can't be explained.
Your claim that I am not being reasonable is the unreasonable claim, especially as I presented at least one poll that showed others agreed with the position I have.
So just stop with your false and juvenile claims.

You can't be spoken with, and you can't be reasoned with. At all.
:doh
Says the person who can't be reasoned with.
You are just speaking to your own position.

Oh I understand quite well what the quote says and means.
And yet you have repeatedly demonstrated that you do not.
Go figure.

Alright, Excon. Out of almost 30 pages, everybody else is wrong, and you are right. Will you shut up now??

Appeal to the masses.
A logical fallacy.

Will you shut up now??
I am pretty sure that is what you need to ask yourself.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

Of course. Once all the evidence was in and examined, seems right to me. I didnt see it all but funny how....it turned out like I said. I guess my 'speculation' on the circumstances wasnt so ridiculous after all. Differences of opinions may exist but 'ridiculous?' Not so much. Such hasty and emphatic conclusions often come 'round again.

I would be interested to read what the Jurors say from both trials to see why the decided what they did. Which may or may not agree with your reasoning.

Just forget about him, Supes. His racism has been exposed for all to see and his hero Dunn is pretty much gonna rot in prison for the rest of his life. All he can do now is try to get the last word in.

You can not point to any racism by me. So stop with your juvenile and ridiculously absurd false claims.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

From the article in the OP:

"Outside the courtroom, Davis' mother expressed her gratitude for a verdict she said represented justice not only for her son but for "Trayvon and for all the nameless faces and children and people that will never have a voice."

What the?... Racial divides will never be gone if this is the way people exploit them.

Where did she mention race? She only commented on her opinion that justice was not served in other cases, including another young person who happened to be black.

You brought race into her comment. As you say racial divides will never be gone if this is the way people like you exploit them.

Oh, Bull. I don't think you need to go back through the TM case do you? Every breath you progressives take is in contemplation of how to make every instance racial...Why should this be different.

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

He won't live past two years in prison. Dunn is , well Dunn is Done.

Ridiculous

Once he comes to terms with lock up.....He will deal with, the change

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

:lamo
Wrong. An innocent man will be doing time for a crime he did not commit. And the community is a lot safer with the real thug having killed.

Wrong on so many levels... lol

But do explain... what qualifies the kid he killed to be a "real thug"?

Re: Michael Dunn found guilty of 1st-degree murder in loud-music trial

Dunn is the only one claiming he was threatened- nobody else backs him up

Au contraire... Excon backs him up. And he believes he knows more about this case than everybody that was in the court room.

Fortunately this guy will never get the chance to be an "EX"con.

Other than "was black" and "played music," what makes you call the victim a "real thug?" I'm not as familiar with the case as you clearly are.

Spot on. She didn't mention race.
