Bet if you had been shot at before, you would be alittle jumpy too.
Look, it's this simple: the cop's life is of little importance compared to the duties of his or her job. They've willingly joined the force to serve and protect their community and fellow citizens. Itchy trigger fingers, brutality, Constitutional violations... it is all becoming too common place. So unless a clear and present danger exists, the cop should have done nothing but issue orders like, "Let me see your hands," and not assume, "Hey, he might have a weapon, time to start shooting..." And if the man was "alittle (sic) jumpy," then why was he wearing a badge and carrying semi-automatic handguns? If he was afflicted, it shows even worse judgment, and not just on his part either. Glad to see that you're still defending the police regardless of the heinous bull**** they do on a daily basis.
