Eric Holder To Step Down As Attorney General

LOL, it was the other way around.

The conservative Democrats all left the party after the civil rights act was passed. And after some pandering by Nixon and then later Reagan, they became Republicans.

The fact that the conservatives left the Democratic party years ago is honestly the best thing to ever happen to the Democrats. Those idiots are the GOP's problem now, and are destroying the party.

Except that it looks like the democrat party is headed for disaster in November.

The Repubs Leadership already have told Reid to keep it for next year.....which they didn't need to do. Since Reid wouldn't put anything forth before the election. After the Repubs take the Senate. There is no Chance BO will get thru someone he wants.

But that is another thing I'm noticing on the Leftie forums... they are sublimely confident!

Many of us thought, by significant pre-election poll research, that Romney would win by 4-8%...

But, we didn't take into account Mickey Mouse, and Bob Smith/Robert Smyth/Roberta Smith and the Democrats massive voter fraud machine... here we are.

The Lefties are far too confident of their future about this issue. They're NOT hunkered down in fear and loathing about what may get spilled in scandal/investigation with Eric Holder's resignation, they're bubbling with confidence.

Somehow, The Fix is in.

Well in order for the Fix to be in.....they would need to know who the Leadership of the GOP and House is going to be. Which currently.....the GOP doesn't know. So no way for the Demos to know.

I wouldn't worry to much.....anything to do with BO peep. Will be Purged.....and the left will go back to being Democrats again. Which truthfully is better for their Party, and the Country.

Good riddance to one of the worst piece of crap AG's ever. We can do no worse, although Obama will try.

You're assuming that they haven't rigged the 2014 election to gain control of both house and senate.

Oh, you can bank on this. Opportunity is knocking.

No way the Demos can gain the House.....not even with anything being Rigged.

There is no democrat party, just like there is no republic party.

However there is a Democratic Party, maybe that's the one that you were thinking of.

Speaking of disasters, get back with us in about 30 years after the massive demographic change that's coming at the old white men in the GOP like a tidal wave hits.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

Even IF I knew, I would not say.

Such information is private and personal medical information, that while others may divulge without the patients knowledge or consent, I would not, ever.

Well...thanks at least for admitting the reason you favor illegal immigration. Personally I think it's going to backfire on the democrat party.

I don't think they stand a snowball's chance in hell of taking the house. They may attempt some trickery in the Senate, however they have their hands full considering their are a lot more democrat seats up for grabs then republican seats.

Not only is your statement racist.......it is ignorant. Clarence Thomas was nominated by George HW Bush in 1991.

I was really being sarcastic; however, I think you may want to look a little deeper into Justice Thomas' biography to get a better understanding of how he got to where he is today.

GHW may have nominated him for the Supreme Court, but he served in other legal positions at the federal level during Reagan's Administration before serving in the lower courts under GHWB and then ultimately being confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice during his tenure. Thus, I think it's fair to ask even to this day whether or not Justice Thomas was the culmination of the GOP filling the Negro quota at the judiciary level. In all fairness, however, it's no different than asking if Justices Sotamayer or Kagan were the culmination of Pres. Obama fulfilling the Woman's Lib quota. All three Justices were minorities, right? Moreover, both Presidents felt the pressure from their respective Party to bring more minorities in at key positions. So, sarcastic or not, I think it fair to ask such a question whether being tongue-N-cheek or otherwise.

But like I said, I was being sarcastic because it's all water under the bridge at this point. Nonetheless, it helps to read books on these such matters to gain a broader perspective and understanding of how such things really shaped up.

Unfortunately, Holder was a hard core partisan which explains how his legacy is viewed by other partisans. To me he was Obama's AG not mine.

He will pay, Obama wont be able to protect him forever. Perhaps him and Lerner can be cell mates.

Neither Holder nor Lerner will ever see the inside of a jail. My guess is that they are both going to get thrown under the bus and then pardoned, just to keep them quiet about the whole truth. Look for an investigation coming during the last two years of Pres. Obama's term where the Reps. will be repeatedly vilified for a carrying out a witch hunt and then a sudden confession to minimal actions, followed by a sentencing, followed by a pardon. The worst of these crimes will get swept under the rug in exchange for the Reps. getting to be the heroes in this with no further condemnation from the WH.

However your post was still racist. "Darkie" is a term not in much use since the segregation era. To the point, I don't have a problem with Reagan appointing an African American to a post partially to add ethnic diversity...as long as the appointee is qualified. When HW Bush nominated him to the US Supreme Court, I did find the attack on Clarence Thomas by the left to be quite repugnant. They pulled out all stops. It was not so much that Thomas was a conservative nominee. It was that he was an African American conservative. The left sees conservative minorities as a threat. They feel that they own minorities and get quite frightened of a high profile minority conservative perhaps drawing minority followers to the conservative side.

Even if they were sentence to any form of prison term...it would be at one that is more like a federal country club. There living quarters would likely be more upscale then yours or mine.

I think a lot of people who claim to be "liberal" are the very opposite. I suspect some of them resent Justice Thomas because he was uppity enough to marry a white woman. Others probably resent him for having what may well be the sharpest legal mind on the Court (Ms. Sonia "The Wise Latina" Sotomayor having, odds on, the dimmest). I've read enough Supreme Court decisions to know the ones that are well-reasoned from the ones that are not, and Thomas has written some that are brilliant. His dissent in the Thornton term limits case and his more recent concurrence in McDonald v. Chicago, the landmark case that applied the Second Amendment to the states, are just a couple examples.

Eric Holder's talents, in contrast, are wading neck-deep in slime to arrange the details of B.J. Clinton's eleventh-hour pardon of Marc Rich, defending Muslim jihadist war criminals for free, and serving as President Pinocchio's racial agitator and all-around butt boy. If he is ever nominated to the Supreme Court, I hope the Senate does everything it can possibly think of to block that nomination--he is completely incompetent to serve on it.

One of the reasons why a lot of changes happen is because the people who will be negatively effected by them don't believe that they're going to happen.

Don't ever say that you weren't warned.
