Homeland Warns of ISIS Retaliation in US by Sympathizers.....

Of course we will, it's why we shouldn't freak out so much about it.

Well No one should freak out. But to be aware.....is to be alive. Lets just hope Team BO doesn't drop the ball.....again.

Ok, it's a 2002 map. That means (if it's even accurate) that we had all those militant Islamic groups in the country throughout the entire Bush administration, and he did absolutely nothing about it. How exactly might Obama drop the ball on this?

Say what Monte.....how do you have a map to even know where they were or are. Uhm.....that's if he didn't do anything about them. Although I am sure they have a more current one and more than likely with more than whats shown here.

Oh, and BO could drop the ball like he did with Benghazi.....that's not to difficult to figure out. Just sayin.

Wait, you put up a map from 2002 that purports to place a couple dozen or more militant Islamic groups throughout the country. What do you mean when you say, " let's hope team BO doesn't drop the ball, again"?

Benghazi.....still didn't ring any bell, huh?

Oh, and I put up a map to show what groups were here. Did you want a more current map so you can then keep your even kiel with BO peep?

Yesterday and today they have been talking about possible retaliation from sympathizers here in the US. Moreso today on several radio stations. Bulletins have all been sent out to all law enforcement. Which it is common to put out the warnings, but then after a French citizen was snatched up. The word was being re-emphasized. We bombed them again today in Syria. Another 10-12 strikes on them and their chatter over the twitter has increased with their calls for violence. Think any of these Sympathizers in the US will do anything?

Federal authorities today urged law enforcement across the country to be alert for possible attacks inside the United States in retaliation for U.S. airstrikes against the Islamic group ISIS, the brutal terrorist group that beheaded American journalist James Foley and has seized vast swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria. In a joint bulletin issued to local, state and federal law enforcement, the Department of Homeland Security and FBI said that while they are “unaware of any specific, credible threats against the Homeland” and find most threats to the U.S. homeland by supporters of ISIS “not credible,” they cannot rule out attacks in the United States from sympathizers radicalized by the group’s online propaganda.

“ISIL members and supporters will almost certainly continue to use social media platforms to disseminate their English-language violent extremist messages,” the bulletin concluded. “Although we remind first responders that content not explicitly calling for violence may be constitutionally protected, we encourage awareness of media advocating violent extremist acts in particular locations or naming particular targets, to increase our ability to identify and disrupt potential Homeland threats. We urge state and local authorities to promptly report suspicious activities related to homeland plotting and individuals interested in traveling to overseas conflict zones, such as Syria or Iraq, to fight with foreign terrorist organizations.” In addition, the bulletin said that “civilian deaths reportedly associated with these U.S. military air strikes will almost certainly be used as further examples of a perceived Western war against Islam in English-language violent extremist messaging that could contribute to [homegrown] radicalization to violence.” .....snip~

This just in: if you bomb a foreign group, you will face retaliation.

I fail to see what Obama's failure in Libya has to do with Bush allowing two dozen militant Islamic groups quarters in the US?

Mornin' PoS. :2wave: Not if you systematically remove all of them from the planet. Just sayin.

Mornin Monte. :2wave: Well, you asked on the statement about BO dropping the ball, not over Islamic groups in the US. Also, really it wasn't all Bush since all that Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and several of those other groups were all there even before he became President.

Now who do you think they Increased under.....here in the US. A Repub or a Demo?

That's because you posted that you hope Obama doesn't drop the ball in a post with a map of militant Islamic groups in America that had nothing to do with Benghazi. You've confused me. What is it that you hope Obama doesn't drop the ball on. And if it's Benghazi, yes he did, not unlike Reagan dropping the ball in Iran/Contra. And what was your purpose in posting the map?

I hope he doesn't drop the ball with the physical security of the country. That his Team stays on top of things. Unlike Benghazi.

Well that was to give an Idea as to what was already here. They say there is ISIS Sympathizers here now. But I don't have a Map of where they are. Still I would think they would have to make contact with AQ Supporters. Network somehow.

Obama and several of his predecessors have already dropped the ball on the physical security of the country. We've had several militant Islamic group attacks on the country already, and the attackers have always articulated why they have attacked. But then few (there are a few here at DP who see the elephant standing) want to acknowledge that part so yeah, we'll have more attacks.

They do and for many of them they use the excuse of what we have done. But that is how they play politically. The real truth of the matter lies in what they do to others and from other countries. Like Buddhists and Asians they can jump enmasse. What they do to Christian women from any place and other countries. As shown they cannot settle for Righteous ground. Which then the Sectarian divide comes in. Then the Ambition to forcibly subjugate all others.

So their excuse.....and blaming, is nothing more than a smoke screen of their true intentions.

You're referring to the Islamic State specifically with all that. The attacks that we've sustained thus far at home have been from non Islamic State groups. Those that have attacked have articulated clearly in multiple video messages and most notably in OBL's open letter. But again, Americans don't want to acknowledge that for quite obvious reasons. There are extremists that would advance their agendas with or without any US interference to be sure. But again MMC, you yourself have acknowledged, no, pointed out that terrorist activity is up 60% under Obama. So........Stop denying in one breath what you've pointed to in the other, namely, that what the US DOES most certainly does have an effect on what militant Islamic groups do.

Well I didn't say we didn't have an effect.....oh and not just the Islamic State. Its the Sunni and their grand designs for a United States of Islam.
