The same Libya where a sitting US ambassador (the Presidents PERSONAL representative) was murdered by terrorists? The one where terrorists have just stolen 7 passenger jetliners? We must have different definitions of success.

Just like the Great Recession and getting Bin Laden, Obama has to clean up after Bush screwed up.

The situation we are all in has surpassed partisan politics. Unfortunately because of the policies of the current administration, we are all at a greater risk of being attacked from within. From poor border policies refusing to secure our borders to allowing known citizens who left this country to joined the ISIS army and kill in a fashion that amounts to genocide to return to this country because of the fecklessness of those in charge makes us all targets. It is by International law that requires us to be involved in stopping ISIS if for no other reason because they are performing genocide. Now if you want to make this all political go ahead. Your choice. Frankly I don't give a damn what your political leanings are, I sure as hell wouldn't want to see you be a victim of an attack. These people are among us. This administration has already verified that. Our intelligence agencies have verified that those who are prone to do us harm have been making their way across the porous borders of Mexico. So sweetie stick a sock in it and ponder reality for awhile. Cheers!

We left 1000's of armored vehicles and tanks behind in Iraq and now Isis is using our weapons to terrorize the region. Yes that needs cleaning up..it's our mess. Actually Bush's mess but Obama needs to fix it. He will because he is not a moron like Bush.

All I know is that we had the worst attack ever on the Republican's watch so I'm glad they won't be running the show anytime soon. That's the only thing that would worry me. Obama has kept us all safe, the last President not so much. I hope the American people remember that. I know I will.

Also not really. They aren't great but they aren't invading nations, killing civilians who wont join them, and threatening to kill civilians here, are they?

I would take an arab dictator over islamists any day.

Yes, that attack occurred just months after President Bush took residency at the White House, delayed because of the shenanigans of Al Gore and his administration was still relying on the "intelligence team" of the Clinton administration. The same intelligence team that had been in place for eight forking years. Guess they missed a few things.

Wait, you think the mess was armored vehicles? As if they were just sitting around with the keys in the ignition, and magically people just started using them against civilians?

WHO's USING THOSE VEHICLES TO KILL CIVILIANS AND DESTROY WORLD HISTORICAL SITES?

ISIS is Obama's mess, they didn't even exist under Bush.

A few days ago a forum member (I will let you guess his political affiliation) assured me that open borders were not an issue. I asked if I should lock my homes doors and my cars, noting that neither had been broken into and he actually said I should leave them open.

This is the logic of some. In the mean time old women and children can WALK here any time. And thats ALL for politics.

Bush missed EVERYTHING. Every warning, every clue about the attack was ordered by Bush to be disregarded as a hoax perped by Saddam Hussein! It was all revealed in the notes released last year. What a MORON. That's why I won't trust a Republican as President. EVER
