Security breached: Intruder gets into White House

Saying "that could have been bad under other circumstances" isn't losing your mind.
Oh get over it. Lots of people break the laws and climb fences sneaking into other peoples properties seeking only a better life for themselves. The WH should drop their fences and their security.

Why, exactly

Yes, the guy was treated for chest pains. Was the medical bill on the White House?

What are his dogs doing there?

The security detail knew he had infiltrated the groinds the second he crossed the fence, because of motion detecters on the perimeter. You notice he didn't get past the door.

I guarantee that they will now put an end to the fence jumping that has gone on for far too long.

They's added an new obstacle to the White House parkour course.

This is obviously a racist plot to keep undocumented Hispanic White House Tourists from seeking employment.

Security breached: Intruder gets into White House

Fence jumpers are nothing new - what is new is that this guy actually got INTO the White House. Incredible since the SS are on duty 24/7/365 and have been for decades to prevent just such an occurrance from happening. Just think - this guy could have had a dirty bomb or C4 strapped to him or a biological weapon and got INTO the White House because of failed Secret Service. I saw on CNN that there is now a full sweep of the grounds to make sure this guy didn't drop something - like a weapon or biologic. This is a WTF moment.

Whatever, we have a vice president.

Crazy uncle Joe? Perhaps in title only....

No, pretty sure he's the VP, and we have a VP for a reason. Already accounted for.

Voting Biden in 2016 then. Sweet.

Edit: You know... after thinking about this for a few minutes I think you're right. We need to open up the WH to the general public without Secret Service totalitarianism, weapons checks, etc. Just let people walk up and knock just like every other house - just like back in the late 1700's. The constitution cared for a succession of power...

It's not really commenting specifically on Biden. We have a dude that somehow happened to make it into the White House and people are like "OMG, How could this happen, what would we do," blah. Well worst comes to worst, we have a VP, that's what would happen. The US is bigger than one man, even if that man is President. While it's reasonable to beef security and ensure the limitation of probability, it wouldn't stop us or hurt us or really even slow us down.

Now if they made it down the entire line of succession, we may be screwed.

I don't know, man. I think the parkour challenge is the way to go. Only the most determined can reach the top of Mount Obamyama.

I don't see what the big deal is, its not like he landed a helicopter on the front lawn.

So you are admitting that you did not whine about Bush being blamed for everything like you do with Obama. Bush was a putz and I despised him and enjoyed mocking him endlessly and I will do the same for this stupid, slimy little leftist weasel that now occupies the white house. If it happens on his watch it's his fault. ISIS for example is his creation and saying people blame him for wells drying up in Calif is just a liberal tactic to divert attention from this.

Nope, I made a sarcastic comment . . . that is it. It's funny now, because of your insistence in putting words in my mouth, and your obvious dislike for the president allows you to blame him for everything. As far as diverting "attention from this"; this isn't about ISIS either, it is about White House security. I realize the buck stops at his desk, and you are now blaming him for the security lapse.

I'm not endorsing Obama. He is far from my favorite president.

How about instead of a knife, he could've had a bomb vest made up of C4?

But hey...no big deal, huh?

They'll put an end to it, until it happens again.

This is ludicrous.

Obama created ISIS by leaving a power vacuum in Iraq when he pulled US troops out prematurely.

George Bush would not have kept troops in the region without a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), and neither would Obama. I sure wouldn't want our troops subjected to Iraqi Law. Hey but that's just my conservative side talking. Some folks just don't care about the troops.

Obama was looking for any excuse he could find to pull our troops out as fast as possible. If he wasn't such a fool he would have found a way to keep as many US troops there as was necessary,
