Security breached: Intruder gets into White House

Obama was looking for any excuse he could find to pull our troops out as fast as possible. If he wasn't such a fool he would have found a way to keep as many US troops there as was necessary,

He could have, you are right . . . he could have allowed our troops to fall under Iraqi law. It was a walkaway point for both Bush and Obama. You may not care, but being retired military, I have to agree with the decision. Troops in Iraq were going to stop ISIS in Syria how?

Obama could have run rough shod over the Iraq so called pres and said our troops will leave when I say they leave and they will not be subject to your corrupt regime. We would have then been in position to immediately stop the advance of ISIS as the Iraq troops threw down their arms and ran. In the process thousands of Iraq citizens would have been saved from slaughter.

Well, President Bush was working on the SOFA agreement as he was leaving office, AND he didn't ram it down their throats. Also, do you remember just how few troops we had in Iraq in the first place and even after the surge? I'm a firm believer in the Powell Doctrine . . . if you are going to put boots on the ground, you use overwhelming numbers. We never did that and that is why the Iraq of today is the way it is. This didn't just happen in the last couple years. This situation is rooted in situations and circumstances going back decades and involving a whole lot of presidents.

We did what we said we were going to do . . . we got rid of Saddam, and we installed a Democracy. Some argue it initiated the Arab Spring. Which conveniently brings us to the old adage, be careful what you ask for, you just may get it.

Why do Obama defenders always use Bush as a base line and say Obama is no worse? Is that the best you can say about Obama, he's no worse than Bush?

Nope, when it comes to SOFA agreements they both made the best decision available at the time. If I had my way we would have never invaded Iraq, but we did. It put our troops in harms way, and I am conservative enough to really support the troops . . . not just put a yellow ribbon bumper sticker on my car. You see, they don't implement foreign policy, they just enforce when called upon.

I guarantee that they will now put an end to the fence jumping that has gone on for far too long.
Thats racist!
