That's hardly a condemnation of bad behavior. It's more of an apology that there are some bad apples in the barrel. Then, after about as half hearted a "condemnation" as you can get he starts in on encouraging further protest!


And how does he wrap it up?


He blames society for the mistrust and pushes his own program!! The guy is a damned hustler, not a healer.

These weren't his only remarks on the situation, as demonstrated earlier, nor was it condoning, or even encouraging violence, as you insinuated earlier. You're simply in the wrong.

If you're unaware of police abuse against minorities in particular, it's because you want to be. There's nothing controversial about stating as much, nor could anything in that paragraph be construed as promoting violence. Just one more post in the scrap heap.

I've heard blacks called "Democrats." No kidding. (In the South, white Democrats are increasingly creatures of legend, like yetis and leprechauns, while blacks are almost universally, well, Democrats.) I've also heard a lot of young whites call each other "nigga."

What? The "nigga" thing? It's everywhere: high schools, frat houses, social media--anywhere you find older teens and young adults "hanging out." My younger son is big into online gaming. He uses voice chat, and I've heard it on there on numerous occasions: "Hey, nigga, get that mother^&*$%# who just ganked my ass." That word's not going anywhere anytime soon.

I was jokingly referring to 'Frosh week' or orientation week at universities...when sometimes newbies are asked to do some rather strange things.

To be fair - it is generally a Canadian term (I went to college in Canada and America).

Given that it's happening more and more often, that would be the people actually doing things like this. You don't see a correlation between an increase in frequency and an increase in acceptance? One is the result of the other. If it was not increasingly acceptable within young cultures, then it would not be increasing in frequency.
