Full on feral. Sometimes one's true feelings just come spilling out, even on the internet. But on a serious note, you're utterly and hilariously wrong. Obama and Holder have gone out of their way to condemn violence and vandalism in both the situations you mentioned, and have done exactly nothing that would promote this type of behavior in general. The only link between the two men you're fixated on and the perpetrators is their race, one which takes precedence in your mind. Should probably work on that.

I read the article you posted 3 times. Where in the article did it say the guy that the two black teens were trying to help were white, black, yellow, brown, purple?
 
The issue is that the government doesn't see teenagers as (although not fully) capable young adults.

And this issue extends further beyond teenagers and to young adults in college.

I quote from my dad, "Some of the things that people in college do that would get any regular person in jail, only get them in a cop ride back to their dorm with a little scolding."

Teenagers are not morons. We know what is right and what is wrong. We may not be as fully capable as adults, but we are capable enough to think, "Hey, I'm sure its wrong to just beat the living **** out of this guy for no reason." Yet the government and society as a whole has seen us as little kids who simply need a little scolding and everything is fine. In reality it isn't, and some teenagers need to be locked up or even executed.

Hell, in Shelton Connecticut one kid recently died because he asked a girl out. Another teenager (who is believed to have been jealous at the time) reacted to him asking the girl out by shooting him in the head, point blank, from the back.

You think that kid knew it was wrong to do that? You bet your ass he knew it was wrong.

Anyways, my crazy random tangents aside, society has this nasty habit of treating younger people like 9 year olds. It shouldn't be that way, the police need to crack down on teenagers and young adults extremely hard and stop acting like they're just little kids.

I don't know about these little pieces of ****, but when I turned 10, my father expected a lot more from me, and if I ever did something as moronic as this, he would disown me in a heartbeat.

Two male Kroger employees, ages 17 and 18, attempted to help the man as the gang swarmed him, but were reportedly punched, kicked, and hit with pumpkins until they lost consciousness near the store’s front entrance.

This isn't a single deranged person. This is a coordinated attack by children on innocent people.

These are the equivalent of animals.

This isn't the equivalent of animals - animals do not try to kill or destroy other animals or the possessions of other animals out of spite or a false sense of entitlement. It is an injustice to animals to compare them to the filth in this video.

I'm sure there will be those who dismiss or excuse this behaviour and all I can say to anyone who does is that you are a contributing factor in the decay of our society and I hope you develop a conscience one day that provides you with some sense of shame for not seeing this exactly as it is.

I hope the young person who was beaten is okay both physically and mentally/emotionally going forward and if there is a God I hope he's powerfully vengeful as regards this evil.

This has gone too far! These teens need jobs or some way to use their energy! As a suggestion, we need our grid underground for our protection - put them to work digging the thousands of miles of trenches that will be needed across the country. Hard work will let them put their "piss and vinegar" to good use, and it will tire them out, and they will be earning some money. That's what my parents did when we were growing up - kept us so busy we had neither the time nor the energy to make trouble! Some of today's parents have totally abdicated their responsibilities, and this is the result. FDR had the alphabet programs for adult men in the 1930s to keep them busy - why can't we do this for today's teens? Lord knows there is a lot of unused but available labor available, and we are wasting it, and I don't care what color they are! Disgusting!

You're more or less right but when the cops crack down they're called racists. Furthermore, it's not just teens that the government treats as children. It's adults and basically anybody some jackass running for office thinks would look good in a campaign photo op.

Jobs would be one hell of a start. Unemployment for black teens is something like 60% if I remember correctly. Of course being employed means doing stuff like showing up on time, acting at least semi-professionally and being responsible for completing basic tasks. If none of that is emphasized at home and in school then they are probably going to rebel against those things at work too.

I have a colony of bees that act just like that. Anything upsets their apple cart, and they are on the attack. Mindless.

I think this craze would disappear very quickly after people under attack had opened fire on their attackers--especially if this killed a few of them.

They've clearly condemned these types of actions. It's obviously their race that you're drawing a parallel to. :shrug:

The president had stern words for both sides of the conflict.

You can call it whatever you like. The term feral is tossed around by racist whites with great frequency in my experience, often in threads like these. Savages. Animals. All a good release for those who generally view blacks as such. Couple that with the immediate connection to Obama and Holder, and it's not hard to put 2 and 2 together :shrug:
 
It's not the topic of this thread, but I personally see the connection and want to make the point. It is hardly surprising that this type of thing goes on when you had Ray Rice, prior to today, assault, beat, knock unconscious his wife, and he received no penalty under the law, a slap on the wrist from the league and then was given a hero's welcome by the Baltimore fans first time he appeared at a pre-season game.

How many of these kids are seeing themselves in this video and also thinking of themselves as special and heroes because they assaulted and knocked someone out?

Whoever says professional athletes and entertainers aren't role models or shouldn't be role models are just whistling by the graveyard fooling themselves. In today's communications/media bombardment, this is what kids see, respect, and try to emulate and I don't know how to stop it but I sure hope we find a way.

My point is these attacks seem to be done by a particular group of people. ONE particular group of people, who seem to thinks its ok to go and attack people for no reason. If another more "prominent" group of people did this sort mayhem they would be condemned as a group all over the media. It seems racism is alive and well, but it lives in a place most would not expect.

Feral means wild- as in feral hogs, feral dogs, feral cats. It's a common term out here in rural America, where we see many wild creatures. These just happen to be humans who look, and are acting like feral animals.

Instead of judging other posters, let's hear your view of what you saw on the video - after all, the topic of the OP is the video, not your need to fantasize about racists behind every curtain.

It means a once domesticated animal, generally 're-wild' for at least a couple generations.
