Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden[W:335:480]

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

I'm sure its a Muslim terrorist conspiracy when your cereal is soggy in the morning too. Just because there is no evidence and it makes no sense doesn't mean that Gardener won't blame Islam for everything.

Since I didn't call it a Muslim terrorist conspiracy, I can only guess as to the reasons behind your lies.

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

British police are getting more and more American but they have so far retained the soul and humanity. Plus police in Europe are trained to only use deadly violence as an absolute last resort, where as it seems American police are trained (or not trained at all) to shoot at anything that moves.

Nonsense

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

The silence of the Muslim moderates is deafening on terrorism in almost all nations that have them as residents.
If British Muslims and Muslim organisations were speaking out against terrorism, how would you hear about it? Would you listen?

Sure there are true moderates, but what is it to be a moderate Muslim these days? What is a moderate Muslim? I know what a conservative/reform Jew is, but Muslim, I have no idea what constitutes one?
Maybe you should talk to some and find out. Maybe you shouldn't be condemning them if you don't even have that basic understanding.

My apologies if I misrepresented you. So you agree that there is no evidence that religion was responsible for this crime?

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

Ok, maybe he was a deranged guy and there is no terror-relation. But now I`m talking about the differences in the actions of the British police and our police. Why British police more accurate and humane? Why did our police lose their ground?

How many officers were on the scene in Ferguson at the time of the shooting? How many officers were on the scene in London at the time of the tazing?

What the hell kind of a response is that? I'm not hearing anything from moderates, nothing, chirp chirp.. What is a moderate, do you know? What separates a moderate from a radical? Aren't there supposed to be way more moderates than radicals? What are they afraid of? I can tell you this, if there was a sect of Jews doing the same kinds of things there would be a blisteringly loud condemnation from the Jewish precincts, but strangely, nothing from the Muslim precincts.

Odd, eh?

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

Well, it`s terrible. And we don`t know wether it was the attack terror-related or not. And another point in this: "officers used a taser to apprehend the suspect". I note that this is a dangerous criminal, rather than a simple thief. Why do our policemen shoot-to-kill in any situation?

Have you seen the crime rate in London?

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

Is there any evidence there was an extremist connection with this crime? Just because it is a decapitation doesnt mean a Moslem is involved.

I think the old lady's head in the rose bush is clue.

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

He is described as a recent Muslim convert.

I had to look through quite a few British news sites until I found it mentioned as most routinely scrub that sort of relevant information from their reporting due to what they call "community sensitivities".

What the hell is being taught in British Mosques, anyway? In an age when London is a worldwide terrorist epicenter and those beheading journalists speak with a British accent, I would think a few more Brits might want to stand up and take notice.

You think, maybe, that with the lax immigration policies and lack of secure borders, the UK has let too many violent Muslim extremists in?
Those preaching this hate in the Mosques for example?

So glad that the US has their borders secure and under control. Oh wait. :doh

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

England has a huge problem and growing divisions among native Brits, and the ever increasing Muslim populations. That place is going to erupt before we in the USA do, but believe me when I tell you, innocent or not, Muslims are going to get a wake up call from all those European nations that opened their doors to them. It'll happen here too eventually. The silence of the Muslim moderates is deafening on terrorism in almost all nations that have them as residents. I'm of the opinion that MOST Muslims, if given the numbers, would all jump in full steam ahead on the jihad. Sure there are true moderates, but what is it to be a moderate Muslim these days? What is a moderate Muslim? I know what a conservative/reform Jew is, but Muslim, I have no idea what constitutes one?

Tim-

Yeah, that's for sure. I'm thinking they've let in far too many extremists. Need to send them back to where they can do no (additional) harm, say send them to ISIS.

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

A 25-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death of a woman who was reportedly beheaded in the back garden of a North London home on Thursday afternoon. Officers used a Taser to apprehend the suspect, who is being treated at a hospital for injuries, according to Huffington Post UK. One officer also suffered a broken wrist, police said in a statement.

As a journalist I have come to be suspicious of the words "alleged" and "reportedly" especially when dealing with the infamous British press and certainly the Washington Post.

Before we convict this guy of terrorism, as the terrorist obsessive David Cameron seems to want to do, we need to examine the rather categorical statement of the police
“This is a highly visible attack in broad daylight on a residential street. I can understand why this may cause people concern, however we are confident that we are not looking for anyone else at this stage,” Sandlin said in a statement. “Whilst it is too early to speculate on what the motive behind this attack was, I am confident, based on the information currently available to me, that it is not terrorist-related.”

"Not terrorist related".......there is no sort of there.

There is no doubt whatsoever the Commonwealth immigrations policies have been a burden in Britain, and at times here in Canada where extremists try to export their war [the Sikh separation movement in Canada that led to planes blowing up]. However, this is documented by the police as an isolated incident and not terrorist related. David Cameron stoops to a new low to make this into a possible terrorist threat, fostering fear in the land based on an incident already dismissed as terrorist. It a mild form of Bush insisting he had to invade Iraq, when there was mounting evidence there were no WMD's

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

Sometimes the facts have a way of becoming anti Muslim. 'Nigerian Muslim Convert' Held by Police After North London Beheading

The facts are not becoming anti Muslim. As far as I'm concerned, there are no facts as to any Muslim aspect of this story at this time. Why would you give any credence to unconfirmed allegations of what amounts to neighborhood gossip? Going by another unconfirmed piece of neighborhood gossip in your own link, if he truly is a recently converted Muslim, why would he walk around giving the finger to other Muslims?

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

You deal in dishonest false dichotomies.

Is it really beyond your ability to comprehend something so basic as the idea that a person acting alone can be influenced by religion without the necessity that a "conspiracy" is involved? Seems an easy enough concept to grasp.

Most people would see the modus operandi being so much in line with various Islamic teachings as to get a clue. If you prefer to stick your fingers in your ears and yell "nyah nyah nyah", though, be my guest.

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

Since gun laws are so strict in England I would carry a sword for protection.

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

Why is it the conservatives want to lable everything terrorism? Is it simply Muslim hate?

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

I think the old lady's head in the rose bush is clue.

It's kind of like living next door to a pit bull, and finding your toddler dead in the neighbor's yard. She has dog bite wounds on her neck, she has muddy dog prints on her clothes, and she has dog d.n.a. all over her, but people are telling you "now, don't jump to conclusions that it was a dog, now!" and getting very indignant that you would even consider the dog.

Why people cannot see something so obvious as the M.O. and at least be willing to consider the likelihood, is beyond me. I mean, who else is in the habit of beheading people, anyway?

Because it advances the anti-Muslim banner carried around by the right.

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

Why is it the conservatives want to lable everything terrorism? Is it simply Muslim hate?

Why would you link something so obvious as acknowledging the fact that since it was a BEHEADING, that maybe, just maybe Islamic radicalization could be involved to being conservative?

Is this just some sly way of indicating that you think liberals are just enormously slow on the uptake?

Re: Woman beheaded in broad daylight in a London garden

Because it advances the anti-Muslim banner carried around by the right.

If Muslims did more to control their own extremists, a banner wouldn't be needed. And really - only the right carries it? :lamo

Most of the people I interact with on these forums are not really anti Muslim, but anti radical Islam. I mean who wouldn't be? These people are nucking futs. I just wish people wouldn't just repeat sketchy, unconfirmed or often downright false allegations until all the facts are in.

Most bigotry originates there, yes. But of course there are exceptions to every rule. And what the hell do you mean by suggesting Muslims are responsible for the crimes of a few radical Muslims. Are christians in general responsible for the radicals amongst their midst?

You have convicted this "suspect" as not only a Muslim but one influenced by terrorists "extremists" based on what?
This?

The man believed to have 'decapitated' 82-year-old Palmira Silva in a suburban garden in North London has been informally identified by locals as a 25-year old recent 'Muslim convert', with one neighbour saying: "He was a black man young about 25 to 30 wearing all black, black t-shirt and jeans, about 5'10" and looked like he went to the gym".

Where is the dog DNA you supposedly found? Bite Marks?

This is garbage. I can SAY you are a terrorist sympathizer and it becomes "believed to be" or "said to be". "Neighbors" saying tnhis or that is hearsay and invalid in the wake of the official line of

In a statement, lead investigator John Sandlin said he is confident that the attack is not terror-related.

If anyone is dealing in dishonesty here, you may want to see who it is by looking in the mirror.

And please cite your source on a head being found in the bushes.
