Which like it was reported there was no protestors.....oh and you forget the Egyptian Cleric. Never saw the Video. Before he spread the word through social media. Also don't let the words social media throw you for that loop.

the President and his team will continue to lean forward with taking out ISIL terrorists and the Somali terrorist leader.

Good thing BHO didn't tell your team about the UBL raid until AFTER it happened, as with this current summer's bombings .

Team BO hired Ansar al Sharia to act as Security for Benghazi. Don't look like to many are debunking that.

Just think how that really looks.....hiring the enemy. Its like Team BO just didn't have a clue about much of anything. Totally incompetent and completely out of touch.
Maybe they can say they forgot there was a War on Terror going on.

:shrug: I'm not aware of anyone on the right trying to "play politics" with the four dead. I see lots of people who are rather intent on the fact that the Administration should not have lied about them. If anyone chose to "politicize" these deaths, it was the administration who chose to react to them in the context of the 2012 Presidential election.

That one sentence kind of wraps up the whole ugly, fatal mess, leaving out only the fact those election era decisions resulted in the deaths now an example that terrorists can, with impunity, believe they can slay American civil servants at will.

Karl, many of us on here have known CPWill for a long time now, a few of us even before he went into the military...What you are doing here by questioning his honesty in what he knows, and what his position in the military during relevant events is only making you look like you have no argument and instead just want to personally attack someone you couldn't hold his jock....So why instead of taking that path don't you argue the points instead of what you are doing now.

That there were no protesters before the attack was never part of my argument.

Have no idea what Egyptian Cleric you are talking about; don't that that was ever part of my argument.

Why are you engaging in personal attacks? Losing the argument on the thread topic perhaps?

In case you missed the clear point, it doesn't matter who he is, who you are, or who I am. Doesn't make any difference at all when it comes to facts, evidence, and logic. Now if it is your position that you or 'your side' will lose the argument unless you can establish some claim of personal superiority, then I'm afraid you have lost the argument.

Sorry, I don't make the rules of logic, I just play by them :shrug:

There was nothing happening anywhere like what happened in Benghazi.

Not attacking anyone Karl, just trying to give you a little perspective as to what Will is saying and why his word could carry more weight than say some schmuck off the street...As far as "loose the argument", "win the argument" I couldn't care less....What do you win? As far as you argument about the actual topic, "logic" has little if anything to do with the liberal progressive spin.

Uhm, you were the one who brought up the Egyptian Protest. I just happen to be the one that's pointed out who it was that started that protest. Then spread the word thru social media to 23 Muslim Countries. Then you had some link about some people saying the attack was in revenge to the Anti Muslim Video. But it was all put into perspective with the prior attacks on the Consulate, The Red Cross, and even when the Embassy was in Hotel.

Also there were Libyans that stated the revenge was for killing al libi.....which AQ headman did release his video 3 days before the attack. Calling on all Libyans to avenge that death.

But it doesn't. No matter how may times you say it, it doesn't. The argument that carries the most weight is the one that is most factual and correctly reasoned. The rules of logic say so, and not only are those rules resolute but they've been around for a while (actually they pre-date Christianity). As the saying goes, you can have your own opinion, but you can't have your own reality.

The topic is not "liberal progressive spin". The topic is "Top CIA officer in Benghazi delayed response to terrorist attack", and that seems to be true. Now how the right has spun into an attack on Obama or 'Obama supporters' I'm not sure, but it seems to follow the 'standard' chaotic right wing echo chamber spin:

1. The order to wait for 20-30 minutes before deploying magically becomes a "stand down order", which is (I'd imagine) a typical right wing focus-group-tested buzz word employed to elicit maximum outrage amongst right wing media fans.

2. This delay proves (to the right) that there was a "stand down order" issued by the administration, even though it was issued by an on-scene CIA guy, which means the left has been wrong all along in saying that there was no evidence of stand down order being issued by the administration.
