GOP Campaign ad exploits Foley's beheading

you condone the disgusting ad that uses the Terrorist's vile propaganda video becuase of the belief in "eye for an eye"?

Disgusting in YOUR eyes why?

Where there any "terrorist propaganda?"

It is a fair and honest picture of war. It shows the result, dead Americans, which so many seem to want to ban, can't remind people that the "terrorists" fight back and your sons and daughters get killed and maimed....not at all.

Secrets are what's disgusting. Y9our government has been keeping them from you and you want more of it?

terrorism is based on fear and intimidation, and ISIS used the Execution of Foley to inspire fear amongst people who watch it. why are we incorporating their videos into political ad campaigns anyway?

and that ad is dishonest for portraying the details of foley's captivity and execution in such simple terms.

So you want a "cleansed" ad campaign, one that doesn't show the result, your dead sons and daughters, the armless children caught in the crossfire.

Of course I want a clean ad campaign. So do most voters. It's not going to happen, but people still want it.

Yeah, only running action film like images where the bombs blow up things instead of people is far more palatable, can;t have that Vietnam thing with the images of the thousands and thousands of body bags coming home...why there might not ever be war again.

Nothing wrong with having that stuff in news reports and documentaries. It just doesn't belong in a political campaign.

How about the GOP pushing granny off the cliff ads the democrats the demorats ran during Bush administration. Would you agree they were in bad taste?

Yes I would agree, the hyperbole from BOTH sides is quite annoying.

People say they want a clean campaign, but in the US it is attack ads, fear mongering that works.

This is no more than the other guys going ape**** over "Mission Accomplished" set to a backdrop of American soldiers being killed. A short attention span is always useful criticizing opponents.

What's dishonest is your selective outrage. If the ad was against republicans, you would be saying: What's the big deal?
