ISIS Demands $6.6M Ransom for 26-Year-Old American Woman.....

How is that Terrorism has grown under BO peep by 58%......attacks up from 390 something to over a 1000? All from 2010 til now? How did Bush cause all that to take place?

You'd be fooling yourself if you think it started under Obama. :doh

You'd be fooling yourself if you think it started under Obama. :doh

I never said it started under Bo peep.....I said it had grown 58% more than what it was with him.

From 2010 to 2013 is under who's Term? Why has it grown 3 times more from when he first was elected?

Oh and lets not forget that it is BO who increased the risk of All Americans overseas. In uniform and out. All Business Interests too.

That came from the Release of the Fab 5 he negotiated for Bergdahl.

This is a simplistic view of all the problems that we face today. And partisan. The problems that we are facing today is the result of several POTUS's, not just one.

Yes, it didn't start under Bush nor will it end anytime soon under someone else. But jeepers, the Bush Administration--more than any other POTUS--deserves a lot of blame for what is happening now.

1: That isn't why we invaded Iraq.

Don't be silly. It's an analogy. I though it would easily get my point across. Apologies.

2: You tried to blame the fact that there were terrorists that were basically fighting the US due to the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. If that were true then we wouldn't have had 9/11 happen until after those wars started.

Never said there was no hate before. But believe it or not, it's scary worse now thanks primarily to Chaney, Rumsfeld et al.

Jeez...when will people get it through their heads?

IF YOU ARE AMERICAN DO NOT GO TO THE MIDDLE EAST.

Hate need a bit of time to fester.

Hate  .....is that the best deflection you can come up with.....when trying to spin things Juniors way? Did you want to shuffle the tarot cards again?

Ok, you have that same response every time, and then I come back with the clarification that I know that the bickering in the ME predates US existence. But that being the powerful country that America is, we who alone have such capabilities, have gone into this region that ****ing needs hard asses like Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad in the positions they are/were in to keep the fringe psychopaths at bay. And have removed them!!! Which is directly responsible for the elbow room, the room for these freaks to blossom. It's absolute insanity. Dude, you don't support Obama's policies, your halfway there. THE US CANNOT, IS IMPOTENT TO, BRING DEMOCRACY TO THE ME. So you needn't tell me anymore that the Middle East was fighting before we came along, I know that, OBL knew that, that dude that threw his shoes at Bush, knew that, Ron Paul knows that, Noam Chomsky knows that. We all also know that US policy has fanned the flames, thrown fuel to the fire.

The difference being on that word that the Media Keeps bringing up.....that would be the word Reset. When one has to reset his policy 2 and 3 times in each theatre of operations the US has interests in. Shows it for what the real truth is Monte. Which nothing from the past has caused that to take place.

What other President had to reset his policy in every theatre of Operations the US had?

Let's take it a step further, shall we? How about, "This is why it's absolutely ****ing retarded to invade a country on fabricated reasons,"? Yeah, much better. The Bush Administration were warned that their actions would cause more hate in the Middle East. And this is ever before it came out that Americans were torturing people. What a big cesspool of mess.

It's Bush's fault. Snore...

Hate  .....is that the best deflection you can come up with.....when trying to spin things Juniors way? Did you want to shuffle the tarot cards again?

I'm sorry that you can't see it.

They've gotten so used to saying everything is Bush's fault, even after years of Obama, that they just can't help themselves? What I do remember is Obama arguing with the G8 in 2009/2010 that they should be spending more money - not less. I remember the other countries politely disagreeing but saying they would do as they saw fit, and he should do the same. So trillions have now been added to our debt, bringing it to over $17 trillion. What did all that spending gain us - there are now nearly 48 million people on food stamps, and heaven knows how many on other government assistance programs; a lack of well-paying jobs; an unemployment number that is still higher than any Bush ever had; crumbling infrastructure; and a public that is angry. No other country in history has owed so much money to so many people as we currently do. So who was correct - Obama or the other G8 countries that decided that a little cutting back on spending was necessary, and followed through?

How much do you think was spent on Iraq?

Well yes you can make that argument. But it's not as though she picked a country in the midst of a civil war (well actually president Assad is fighting a US backed war on terror) to holiday in. But point taken.

Ohio has become an example of what can happen when an incident like Kent State makes the news. The wise students either left immediately or holed up in their rooms when the National Guard was called in. I later worked with a man who was in that group of Guardsmen, and he talked about how bottles and bricks and bags of feces and urine were being thrown at them. We later learned that hard core professional agitators had been brought in, and they inflamed the students that were protesting the bombing of Cambodia by burning the ROTC building to the ground. Sadly, four students were killed and nine injured - the agitators shrewdly left when tear gas was used to disperse a crowd of about 600 people.. I understand that in 2010, 40 years later, the site was placed on the National Register of Historic places by Obama's Department of Interior, even though questions still remain unanswered.

What a sad legacy for a little town like Kent, Ohio. Like my parents and teachers used to tell us - if you don't want trouble, don't cause trouble, and stay away from those who do cause trouble. Good advice for every area of life, IMO.

Greetings, Montecresto. :2wave:.

I'm sorry that you can't see it.

Well with what you are talking about......there is nothing to see.....trying to blame Bush for things he had nothing to do with. Just doesn't cut it as an excuse.

I'm sorry you don't see it. I tried my best.

How much do you think was spent on Iraq?

Too much, even if it was only a dollar! I have two friends whose sons died there - one who, as a little boy, told his mother he wished my name was Daisy, since he had trouble pronouncing my real name, and he thought Daisy was such a pretty name - according to my friend, and the other a classmate in high school with my children that was often at my house. And now we're back there again.....

Greetings, Middleground. :2wave:

I'm sorry you don't see it. I tried my best.

Again there is nothing to see.....reality is all that counts. Which Bush Junior doesn't play into any of this reality of what was said to you. None.

I appreciate you giving it your best shot.....but like with all American Exceptionalism. Sometimes ones best shot.....isn't good enough. Just sayin.

FINALLY someone here gets it!

Everyone gets the Obama slurpers can't support his foreign policy because Obama doesn't seem to have a foreign policy. So what's left to do? Replaying that broken record blame bush.

Obama's weakness is so glaring that the ME is run amuck with terrorists. How did the Arab Spring work out? All Obama did was help replace secular heads of governments with nothing except a void awaiting Islamist terrorists to join the fight. Then what? The fighting is still going on. But go ahead and prattle on about Bush.

Your self-imposed ignorance is as glaring as it is humorous. Or maybe it is just ignorance.

the installment of the Muslim Brotherhood into power was a conscious and deliberate strategy of the Obama Administration developed before the "Arab Spring" began.

So the Obama Administration did not stand beside friendly regimes or help to manage a limited transition with more democracy and reforms. No, it actively pushed to bring down at least four governments—Bahrain, Egypt, Tunisia, and Yemen.

It did not push for the overthrow of two anti-American regimes—Iran and Syria—but on the contrary was still striving for good relations with those two dictatorships. Equally, it did not push for the fall of radical anti-American governments in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. No, it only pushed for the fall of “valuable allies.”

"The administration is already taking steps to distinguish between various movements in the region that promote Islamic law in government. An internal assessment, ordered by the White House last month, identified large ideological differences between such movements as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and al-Qaeda that will guide the U.S. approach to the region."

That says it all, doesn't it? The implication is that the U.S. government knew that the Brotherhood would take power and thought this was a good thing.

So is it time for us to just start killing Isis members yet? I mean it is GOING to happen. They are eventually going to be enough of a problem. So...

Now ISIS will play on BO's emotions and test that Negotiation Process we have. This time with a woman. What do you think the outrage will be if they Cut a US Woman's Head off?

A third American hostage held by ISIS has been identified as a 26-year-old American woman who was kidnapped a year ago while doing humanitarian relief work in Syria. The terror group is demanding $6.6 million and the release of U.S. prisoners for the life of the young woman, who the family requested not be identified.

In addition to the multi-million dollar ransom, the terror group has also demanded that the U.S. release Aafia Siddiqui, an MIT-trained neuroscientist who was convicted by the U.S. in 2010 of trying to kill U.S. officials two years before, according to a supporter of Siddiqui who has been in contact with the hostage’s family.....snip~

Oh.....that's ABC 45 mins ago.

Pay it if need be and get her out of there. We should do our utmost to save our citizens. ISIS won't be substantially boosted by such a minor cash infusion and we've done this many times in the past.

NY Times: Obama Jump-Started Arab Spring | Clarion Project

Ignorance is believing that piece of **** blog written by some dick head then quoting it like it's some form of truth. And believe me, I ain't no Obama apologist.

If you don't think the Bush Administrations actions had anything to do with the growing hate in the ME, then common sense and critical thinking are not your forte.

Don't give them anything, tell them that if they are willing to target civilians, we'll do the same and then bomb the living crap out of their families. Tell them that for every American civilian life that is lost, we'll kill a thousand of their people. Sooner or later, they either stop or they run out of people.
