Sacramento patient being treated for possible Ebola exposure

Hospital officials in Sacramento announced Tuesday that a patient has been admitted for treatment after possible exposure to the Ebola virus. The patient was admitted to the South Sacramento Kaiser Medical Center. They emphasized that this is a case of possible exposure.

He returned to California earlier this month after visiting West Africa.
And here is some actual stats about outbreak
The World Health Organization announced that the death toll in the current outbreak had reached 1,350 cases in which the disease is either confirmed, probable or suspected. The agency also said that there are 2,473 illnesses in which the disease is either confirmed, probable or suspected.

I hope that this is true! After all, no need to deny that the government can hide the truth to avoid inducing panic. Especially in such an acute situation. This person could be a test subject for testing vaccines

yeah interesting that you said that, we here in Ontario Canada were told the same about a patient who presented to the ER in Brampton with a high fever and other symptoms, that no indeed it wasn't Ebola...

okay then, wtf was it and how is that individual doing?

to me lies could be justified by medical officials siting public panic...
